Now maybe a casual gamer doesn't care ok maybe this is good to them. Maybe LD2K has no issue with it haha I don't know maybe someone in sales/or marketing doesn't care as long as more people buy the game. I was speaking in terms of Beds and the gameplay team. If this was the case we can go head and make an NBA Jam 2K version.
Ya, it's funny that it's a 2k team up guy that is the one making the game look stupid before release! I wonder if EA got to him? Lol!

I feel you man. I would bet the gameplay team can find cringe-inducing gameplay videos every year. But I really don't care too much about all of those. The game has always been very accommodating to all styles of game play. And this is why many people like it. What I DO care about, after watching the video for what is probably the 4th time, are elements that make the game too exploitable. Exploits are in every game. We know this. But if VC continues to squash them, the game gets better. The things that bother me most are NOT the sprint crosses, but the dunks in traffic. That **** needs to be fixed.

Seems they are too strong or the AI takes too long to "process" the fact that the cross is happening? How do you see it coming as a human defender?

Is it roster issue? Agility, lateral quickness? Is it just bad CPU AI not knowing to play angle? Idk... I think he's making videos to see the problem on high difficulty levels. But who knows, maybe patch on day 1 fixes all this?
Nah. If it's truly an exploit, a rating doesn't matter, right? Maybe the D1 patch addresses it so that it's better. But completely gone, I wouldn't assume and that wouldn't be realistic in the right cases, right?

Wait you have the game why don't you confirm or deny any of this with your own game? If you have the game can't you try this.

Superstar Sim 7 minutes cheese the game with the Wolves turbo and see how many dunks you get. My personal opinion I thought most of this should have been controlled with actual shot fatigue. Lavine is an elite athlete but he isn't actually strong and he actually finishes below average when in contact around the rim.

I don't know if he's trying to. Is he? I have the volume down when I watch. What is HE saying about it?

EDIT: Just LISTENING to him, he seems to REALLY be enjoying himself. I don't think he realizes what he's doing in the eyes of guys like the OS crowd.

We have to acknowledge that most players don't want purely sim settings.

2K do an excellent job of finding a good balance and offering us sliders to get it to play how we want.

Im wresting with Madden and NHL's sliders and cant get results as good as Ive got from 2K

Because I just don't play that style. Like 23, I have not had a lot of success at doing it. That's why I 'm not trying to dismiss this, but I'm not convinced it's an issue either. Basically, I just figure I suck at doing it on Superstar-Sim. I do it all day on PRO though.

I know in 2K14 it was much harder dunking at the end of games or when players were fatigued, and I had fatigue at default.

That has to be the most cringeworthy NBA 2K related vid I've ever seen. Cheesing, fake reactions, trying to sound black etc.

I think I'll only sub to Chris Smoove, Da Czar and Jao for 2k related stuff

No consolation for those down by double digits by the time that happens.

BTW, I just want to echo the opinion that Levine and Wiggins are WAY too think. They look MASSIVE. And if LaVine and Wiggins are listed as 6'5" and 6'8" respectively, what the hell is wrong with this video. They look huge! LaVine looks taller than Boozer sometimes.

I know. I laugh hard when he said that. But, to be fair, there is a LOT of cheese on PRO that is gone on the higher settings. So I won't stress that. There was an alley oop attempt that was stopped just as promised by putting the defender between the catcher and the basket. So, I'm not stressing that.

Again, the FIRST thing I want to be sure is fixed is the dunks in traffic.

here is the vid. what you see is two merged clips. the first is the replay in slow motion, pause then the second clip which is the initial take that shows me coming into practice, changing it from custom to sim ( i have, as i said, raise on ball and awareness), and pulling off the move on my second try since i didnt have enough momentum on the first try.

I was going to use John Wall, but decided to use Chalmers so it would be clear and elite speedster isnt needed to pull this off. You can imagine how a high flyer might have finished that.
