Official MyGM / MyLEAGUE Wish List for 2K16

I started one of these last year and it really helped us determine which of the hundreds of the features on our internal "Blue Sky List" we'd tackle first for 2K15. Please, include anything that you'd want to see in either of the association modes for NBA 2K16 -- whether it be a new feature or just fixing something that is broken or not working like you expect it to work.

(All of these options were available in 2K13 association except one)

-ability to edit a prospect during a MyLeague season, not just at the start

-ability to create multiple save files for same league

-CPU auto management while using 30 team control

-ability to look at multiple 'past seasons' (not in '13)

-fix prospect tendencies (contest shot is almost always at 0. triple threat idle is almost always 99 as well as 'no driving dribble move'. same case for both guards and centers)

-add or take away tattoo option

-generate face option

-edit headband option (or at least fix this)

- Bring back the ability to allow the CPU to make their own trades, free agent signings, etc. while controlling all 30 teams.

- Bring back the option to change teams in MyLeague

- Allow for 3 team trades

- While approving trades for CPU vs. CPU teams insert an option to "hold off" on the trade so you have an opportunity to view the Standings and Rosters before making a decision.

- Bring back the D-League

- Add Summer League

- Allow us to add or remove things like headbands and tattoos

- Add a new mode to start the season from the current real life date with real life stats, standings, injuries, etc.

- Make MyLeague a fully featured online mode



That's all I have for now, but I'm sure I'll think of a few more things while playing. As always thanks for listening to our feedback.

I think the modes are nearly perfect already, but a big one for me might be more of a roster thing?

I think having access to the MyTeam legends for these modes is huge. I actually haven't received a clear answer from folks on if they actually are available somehow, but if not, a legends pool for use in MyLeague and MyGM would be killer.

agree with @BluFlu on the the ability to create multiple save files for same league

plus an ability to manually do a local save.

Posters say their save files have been corrupted and they can't continue their league/GM and lose their progress.

- Sliders for how often you generally get morale / playing time / workout intensity talks with players in MyGM

- Ability to do 30 team control with CPU automation for these teams in MyLeague as mentioned above

Pleeeeeeasssse make a concerted effort to bring MyGM and preferably MyLeague ONLINE. Use the Online Associations from 2k12-2k14 lastgen as a baseline template. Us online gamers want to enjoy this fabolous mode with our friends ONLINE. I know it is not a simple copy/paste of the offline MyLeague to online. Davez, on a scale of 1-10, what would be the level of effort in bringing MyLeague online? I just want a barometer so as to gage our expectations for 2k16 Online Franchise modes. Thank you for your tireless efforts in creating the deepest offline franchise mode in the industry.

• better overall Draft presentation:

- for example prospects coming on stage with their team hat and getting congratulated by the commisioner

- more names recorded by the commissioner to be announcable

- some sort of Draft recap show

- have a pre Draft game that features the best prospects to play against

• bring the NBA.com news page back (that was way better than the social media stuff)

• add owner stuff to MyLeague like pricing, merchandise, concessions etc.

this game will be PERFECT then!

Absolutely all of these. Plus:

-Create accurate veteran minimum contracts, with tuned logic for players accepting these. Right now the "minimum" is the same for everyone (516k) when in reality there are scales based on your tenure in the league. Same thing in relation to scaled max deals.

-Simply review Larry Coon's Salary Cap FAQ. He breaks it all down very simply. Implement all of this. May sound like alot but really its not because you guys have done most of it (just some things like the vet minimum and MLE and mini MLE need to be fixed in relation to when theyre aloud). Add the bi-annual exception, include Early Bird rights, etc.

-Lottery protected draft picks

-Full D-League implementation. Including real D-League players.

-The use of Europe and China. Now doesnt have to be to the extent of the D-League where you can play their season and what not. What we have now with the Euroleague teams rosters is fine, now just keep those accurate and updated (with NBA level synced ratings and tendencies so that someone who's great in europe isnt a beast the League) bring those into the mode. Not as playable teams replacing NBA teams, but to use as drafting and stashing, signing guys who were out of the league, and free agents who dont get deals going over there.
It could be as simple as just an extensive "list" of guys who are overseas with stats, progressing and regressing building on what you've done with the prospects' simulated seasons in 2k15. Ideally, I and many others just want more NBA eligible players in the game's roster/free agent list
Honestly the D-League could even be this way too. Just want to be able to call real players up and send guys down.

-Draft rights. Piggybacking on the Europe implementation, have teams hold the rights to players they draft and stash. Both existing and user generated. That way Dario Saric will be in the game. Also add the ability to trade the rights to players.

-Bring back 3-team trades and hell add 4-team.

-Toggle auto save on and off. Or at least dont make it happen right after a simulated game, or even played game. "Full customization" means letting us choose if we accept that result.

-Bring back the "Start Today" option. But make sure players who were added to the roster late are synced to their real life counterparts to achieve full accurate stats. Honestly off the top of my head i cant recall if this was removed, my mistake if it was not.

-Keep tuning that sim engine

-The ability to override player's retirement. Or maybe even just like NCAA football used to do where you could try to convince the player to come back to school, in this case stay in the league. I havent tested enough with the body part injury ratings to see how much of an affect this has.

-Expanding on the tattoo options in BluFlu's post I quoted, have some sort of tattoo generator to add to players. Or at least EXTENSIVELY improve and add to the game's tattoos to give to players. Both created AND existing. Players get more tatts every year. Honestly the tattoo issue itself could have its own thread lol. What with some rookies not even having theirs. *Off-topic* but DAMN would I be excited if the FaceScan expanded to TattooScan next year. Can you tell I'm biased on this topic?

-Ability to change players hairstyles and facial hair. Self explanatory, players' hairstyles change over the years and sometimes months in Chris Andersen's case. You guys advertised this technology on the back of the box on 2k12 i believe it was. So it has to be close to being a reality once bug free.

-Last but not least since it's something that hopefully should be addressed in a patch for 2k15 and it's not exactly MyLeague related but does affect it: Fix the auto rotation bug that I have posted extensively on where all 10 starters play over 30 minutes regardless of minutes assigned. You guys have really done a great job listening to the community. Adding pre-existing traded picks and manual injuries were 2 very appreciated surprises. That's why I suggest these things with confidence knowing that I'm sure they're at the top of your list as well.

First off, great job on MyLeague this year. It's literally the only mode I have spent more than 5 mins in. I'm having a blast! On to wishlist:

- Incorporated the NBDL and Euroleague into the mode. Allow us to play the games if we choose or skip them entirely with no prompts. Also, include the Euro group format schedule and Euroleague score bug to differentiate it from NBA broadcast.

- Add Kenny Smith to the halftime show and provide highlights! Have Shaq and Ernie host a weekly "Around the Association" show similar to College Hoops tonight where they go over the hot topics around the league. On this note; have the commentators (whoever they are) comment on whats going on around the league. Make the commentary dynamic and relevant. There's a lot of dead air this year. Let's fill it with trade rumors, "star" player injuries, award frontrunners, contract resigning/opting for free agency, winning/losing streaks, coach hot seats, etc from around the league. I play 12 min quarters and those 48 mins to an hour is NBA 2K universe time. If Ray Allen announces his retirement, I want to hear the commentators acknowledge that during the game. Add a ticker, too. This is a great way to show us whats going on around the league and it could also be used to show those simulated prospects stats.

- Someone else mentioned draft presentation already. I agree, but add an offseason recap after the draft and free agency to prime us for the upcoming season. Have Shaq and Ernie weigh in on the moves and predictions for the season.

I was thinking how cool it would be if 2K just licensed some tattoo shop tattoo book for the game. It would be major exposure for artist's and shop and it would allow us to put real looking tattoos on our players. I'm not sure how expensive that would be, but it would be so cool.
