MyLeague/MyGM Draft Classes are broken

Just sim 5 years and browse throuhj the rosters or use the "find player feature"

Aside from Duplicate player due to the stash-player bug ( http://forums.operationsports.com/fo...sh-system.html ) you will also encounter 6'0 Centers and 7'2 PGs. And no, neither number is hyperbole. Just have a look after simming 3 or 4 seasons.

With that one i can't even begin to guess what is causing this. They are certainly not coming into the league like that (i checked in "creat draft class" with dozens of classes), but somehow magically grow/shrink somewhere along the way ...

Since most are rated relatively low (under 75) my one guess would be that G-League Call Ups/Send Downs cause this in some way.


The tendencies are also again screwed up big time as are the ratings that once again are way too random. A super fast (90) PG with good handles (80) should not have 50 speed with ball, for instance ...


So right now there is essentially no way that MyGM is even remotely playable and with MyLeague you would have to heavily and constantly edit players.

This is very disappointing. Is this game always this messed up upon release? I usually pick it up later in the year around October/November, but I enjoyed it so much last year that I preordered it this year.

All I really wanted to do was a myGM expansion and being unable to do that, and now finding out all the other issues with CAP and draft classes, I am seriously considering selling my copy on eBay already.

Not really a surprise, 2k always release a broken game. Usually have to wait for a couple of patches before My League/GM is playable.

Ill just enjoy play now for the next month

Very disappointing. Been looking forward to all this MyLeague since that huge blog that came out and now I'm just wondering if I should bother even giving Gamestop the rest of my money to help finish paying off this pre-order. Glad I pre-ordered Live too. While not perfect it at least seems functional.

How do things like this not get tested? It took someone probably less than an hour to sim and see these game breaking issues.

They never test beyond 2 years.... ratings, contacts, CPU team building, generated rookies.... never looked into

Exactly. I saw this when I did my league testing last night whomario but didnt know you had already looked into it further. This is definitrly a major issue. Even though there are manual workarounds we should be able to use the feature without having to rely on that.

Exactly. I saw this when I did my league testing last night whomario but didnt know you had already looked into it further. This is definitrly a major issue. Even though there are manual workarounds we should be able to use the feature without having to rely on that.

It's just crazy how they do the same thing every year. They hype up new features for myleague, yet year after year they don't test and the mode doesn't work right past year 2.

Sapp, I love you guys but I miss the days of 2k14 when you could put out tons of classes, it usually takes you guys a full calendar year to get the roster done and then 5 classes.

No offense but I just can't wait till next spring to see how the stars of your dc1 will progress.

Have you guys considered only editing the base roster for ratings and then just have your draft classes adjust to that, so we can maybe get 10+ classes this year?

The game is unplayable without simworld, but the complexity of the game combined with your real lives makes the simworld project drag on for way too long.

I was so hyped to play, but now it's like **** I now have to wait for simworld to fix 2k..... again

Smh...like every year they throw a bunch a friendly words to hype their new features but they never get it right, out the gate, and they rely too much on the simworld guys to manually fix their shortcomings.....
Really disappointed in this ****.

Considered it but I honestly have gotten to the point where I don't really enjoy the real NBA roster anymore. Trust me, I miss the days of 10 plus classes as well. A lot. But like you said, we usually wnd up spending the first three months just putting together workarounds for all these darn issues as well as getting the fictional league together.

I understand not wanting to wait as well. I honestly hope that more xbox users put out some more detailed draft classes so help fill that gap. Unfortunately as far as on this side, I'm just hoping we can get things done a little faster this year :/
