MyLeague file corrupted, cannot load

Some suggestions...


Never press Alt+F4 , always wait when the ball in the right screen pops up to save the game. Leave the game normal and wait till steam have synched the save files.

Don't use in the options the "save" or "save under" button.

I lost a lot of save files....you can do a backup, but it not helped me, the files again got corrupted....

If they don't fix this we gonna have touble this year in my league I made tons of Sims over 10 seasons for check sliders and bug and 90% of sim finish because crash and later corrupted save file this crash normally happen on free agency, summer league, training camp, at contract sliders on sample player after 1 seasson and also after 2026 seasson can happen the crash when you move to a new seasson I didn't have such a tons of bugs in 2k18

I got a couple corrupted saves myself when I first started my myleague. Now I save backup and make sure to wait before exiting the game mode while it saves.

Do you use the save buttons in the options menu? When i use them, its very high that my savefile gets corrupted.

THe times I have had the corruption were when I started a new myleague with a new draft class and used the save button. I never use autosave since I fool around with myleague a lot and do quite a bit of experimenting.

I started another ML yesterday and saved three files under "Save As" in the options. I mean, if these corrupt, there's no point in even playing the game anymore 'till something is fixed.

So far, so good. I've reopened the game twice now and loaded the files.

If the file corruption problem persists, it might be worth a shot to disable Steam’s cloud sync/backup functionality for NBA 2K, provided, of course, that Steam sync is enabled.
