So I have played with help defense set to 85 for the last 2 games. I like it. In fact it is really good and was a great suggestion. As I said I will be updating the first page with the final version this evening as I believe they are as good as they will get at the Pro level without taking the fun factor out. What I don't want is a plodding foul fest every game and so far through dozens of games I am just loving it.

I am experimenting with dunk ability between 40-45. 30 is too low for my taste. Again I love the dunks when I earn them. I do know I dunking a tad more than an NBA game.....but that is the fun factor of playing a video game I don't want to lose.

I think you are absolutely correct here.

I have tested over thirty games, and I can say almost positively that 52-53 is the correct setting on PRO. I only include 53 because I can't remember what it was & what I just changed it to, since it was at about 31% through 25 games. Of course, these were CPU v CPU games, and we all know the caveats therein.

Try 43. Go into practice and take a player like Raymond Felton or anyone you know that does not dunk and adjust it. You will see that most players under 43 can easily dunk anytime and when you start getting to the 43 number that is when you see the true dunkers only do their thing. This slider is basically a cutoff for either dunking or not.

i'm glad i was able to help another thing i changed is the hands attribute. i raised it to 60 to create more ball deflection resulting in fast break points and turnovers. try that also and see how you like it. i had it at 75 first and i was like whoa! the players seemed like they had magnets on their hands haha. the only negative thing about this is that it also creates steal turnovers, so u might get a bit more steals than you should. but at 60, its not too much.

You could try them but I would recommend the Purist Sliders pre patch. And it is the the set on page 1 of that thread. I thought they were about as perfect as it can get.

Hey A&S question. What is the idea behind these adjustments?

Off Awareness - 75
Def Awareness - 75

I really want to get rid of the 7 seconds offense of the CPU. I just see it way too often. But if I would higher both offense and defensive awareness wouldn't the effect be still 0? just curious to your opinion on this.

Also what does the defensive assist slider (in control settings) according to you? Maybe this could also help if you are switching a lot in defense?

I hear you I am seeing that 7 second thing happening more than I would like. I wish I knew which slider or sliders correlate that. The defensive assist setting helps the cpu handle more of the one on one if you play a lot of off ball defense. At least that is my take. I keep it very low as I play on ball defense 85-90% of the time.
