the truth is people like the idea of sim but not the consequences, if you watch a basketball game you will see alot of wide open shots missed most teams shot in the mid 40 percentage a game, it sucks but it realistic you have to option to play the game like you want I don't see the need to complain over maters under your control.

No. I have shot stick.

And I don't expect EVERY shot to go in. But Good God, when ALL of the players on my team make one shot out of probably SIX attempts on WIDE OPEN ASSISTS, it's seriously frustrating.

I have to try and save the day with my shooting EVERY game.

This is all I've been trying to say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You people claim you want a simulation but then complain when its not playing like a video game. WHICH IS IT??????

NOBODY HITS EVERY WIDE OPEN LOOK IN THE NBA!!!!!!!!! PERIOD!!!!!!!!

Not MJ

Not Kobe

Not Reggie

Not Ray Ray

Nobody.

Players have blown uncontested dunks and layups - it happens. Great shooters have missed open 3 point shots. It happens. Please stop playing 2 Quick Games and stating these are season totals. Not one person is saying that they have played an 82 games Association and not gotten their numbers. Why? B/C you're all too busy on OS writing threads on the same issue.

And it's been said time and time again - the "sim" (God, I love you so please abolish the word simulation from the English language for me) setting is for longer games. The lead designer plays on 12 minute quarters. THAT'S what that setting is built for.

Why do topics like these keep coming up???????????

SET THE GAME THE WAY YOU LIKE IT - WHY PLAY ON A SETTING YOU DO NOT LIKE AND THEN COMPLAIN ABOUT IT?????????

For the love of all things precious - please.

Stop.

You just need to work the ball around to get a good look or if you ARE going to try and go one-on-one, you HAVE to get a perfect release for it to go in
Agreed. I play on Superstar/Sim and most of my points also come from midrange. You don't necessarily have to have a perfect release though...the better the shooter the more forgiving.

If any offline player can't find a custom/sim setting that works for them, then I don't know what to say.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Just depends on my mood. I dig more Sim style in my Association, but other times (Jordan Challenges) I ratchet down the difficulty and play more of an Arcade style fun game (lots of steals and dunks).

I'm not married to Sim, but I like it sometimes.
