Early 2k12 Player Ratings

Let's try to predict some 2k12 Player Ratings in this thread.

Michael Jordan = 99
Magic Johnson = 95
Larry Bird = 95
Hakeem Olajuwon = 93
Kareem Abdul Jabar = 93

This was pretty hard, i wasn't sure if i should raise Magic & Larry ratings up, knowing 2k, they'll give them about a solid 95, i don't expect them to give them a 99. Although, it could be a possibility that they both be a higher rating, like a 97-98. Hakeem and Kareem seemed ok i guess, 93 seems fine for them.

1) i LOVE that 2K understands ratings for the most part. the NBA MVP was rated a 91 (and killed people @ that rating) again--loved it.

You rate Kobe higher than wade at this stage? if Bron's a 97 then Wade is a 96/97 no?

Dirk was an 85 last year and killed people at that rating. 90. those other guys arent necessarily better than him, just more well-rounded.

Rondo fell to an 87 last year. i dont think the freefall is over. 85 (alot of holes in his game)

Blake Griffin - I was shocked 2K succumbed to the hype and gave him an 85 last year. he's a great finisher/rebounder but not much else--yet. you can pack all of that into an 80 i'm thinking. 22/12 as a rook is crazy tho.

Rose was fine as a 91. why raise his rating until he does something new, adds something to his game? we dont want to turn into inflated ratings Madden when even solid players are a 90 overall.

Wall was a 76 last year, that a good rating until he turns the corner.

Love's 20/10 is nice, but he plays for one of the worst teams in the league. 78.

Melo 94
Kobe 93....Not saying he's not as good as them....he's just older....

If your putting Dwill and cp3 at 95 and Dirk at 93 you smoking, more like the other way around if not D and cp3 91

Dwade should be 96-97 if you have the league MVP for the past 2 years on your team and average 25.5, 7,5 with another allstar you should be rated that if he was by himself he would have had another career year...smh

as a celtics fan i dont have a dog in this fight, but thats what i was thinking. both are good defenders, and while lebron is more well-rounded as far as assists and rebounds, wade is the better scorer.

No one should be rated past a 96 IMO. I never understood why sports games overrate people.

i actually agree with you. but since he posted Lebron as a 97 I didnt see the logic in arguing over a point. 97-99 should be for all-time greats IMO.

Wade should be within a point or two of LeBron IMO. I'm thinking Dirk will get bumped up around the 89-91 range if I had to guess. His rating last year was pretty much spot on, but I'm guessing he'll get a little bump because of the run he had in the playoffs.

78 might be a good rating for the T-Wolves as a team, but Love himself needs to be a mid-high 80s rating. In my latest roster update he's an 86.
