Why does 2k strip Online Association of very basic gameplay selections?

This is purely a frustration post.

As awesome as this game is...and it is awesome...why.....dear sweet video game basketball gods on high....WHY are basic selections such as

1. game quarter length
2. game difficulty
3. Real Free Throw/Shooting %

completely unavailable to adjust in an Online Association???

I'm scratching my head at this. It can't be that difficult to allow someone to adjust game lengths, or difficulties as you go through an 82 game online association.

I mean..it would be nice to be able to force roster changes for CPU teams (i.e. the Harden trade)...but I'm not even asking about that.

I'm asking for the basic ability to say "hey, I think 10 min quarters will give us better stats, lets switch from 11 to 10minutes." Can't do it. Not once you start.

Frustrating.
