Hey everyone, since the companion app is finally available, why not have a thread for everyone to post their scans? Mine did a really good job, even getting my forehead wrinkles in there lol. The hair/beard options in-app are ok, but there's no option to choose hair color in the app, so I just used the picture of the initial scan.

Did it give you a goatie/ beard or did you have to add it later? 2K Facescan always messes up because I have a full beard.

Very nice scans fellas.



Here's digital WTF. Doesn't have my high and tight hair, so I'm going w/ the bald look, which I sport during the summer most of the time anyway. It's spot on too.

Can you change your skin tone in the demo? Cause they made me white lol. Too much lighting maybe?

You create/login to your EA account, and it saves it to the EA account to upload into the game.

Can you change your skin tone in the demo? Cause they made me white lol. Too much lighting maybe?

No, unfortunately not. I've seen some pretty pasty ones from too much light, and too dark from not enough.

Thanks. This is my 3rd scan, but I was being a perfectionist when it came to my scan lol. The faces have been good so far, so when I get a skin tone match I'll keep it and post it.

I'm trying to figure out why the area where you place your face in is cut off at the top of mine. And then it just keeps saying 'Scan failed'. Anyone else seeing this?

I'm trying to figure out why the area where you place your face in is cut off at the top of mine. And then it just keeps saying 'Scan failed'. Anyone else seeing this?

Yeah, it'll be cut off. Make sure you have a natural light source (face filling the circle). Tap inside the U Circle to "focus" the camera before it starts scanning, then slowly follow the prompts. If you're wearing a shirt with a collar, it sometimes throws it off.
