In my opinion they don't release the NFL 2K Mobile game this year unless the console version soon follows.

I think they're talking about Mafia 4 there. That doesn't sound like NFL 2K to me.

All the titles he mentioned prior to this quote were sports titles so I'm putting my money on NFL 2K.

I wouldn't call NFL 2k "one of 2K's biggest and most beloved franchises". I'm thinking either Bioshock or Mafia 4. I'm leaning towards Bioshock

I definitely want to NFL 2k to come back, but I wouldn't consider it biggest series. Especially with 20 years since the last game(not counting All Pro)

I think Bioshock was announced in 2019 to come back. .I could see NFL 2k being announced, but don't think this is the game they tweeted about.

He's not wrong necessarily...it kick started dreamcast. Was the corner stone and was ahead of madden back in the day. I can't speak for the all pro series but if it comes back and gets a Sim license at some point then easports is in trouble.

I hope you're right, but I think you're setting yourself up to be disappointed.

We know it's coming and June 7th is the perfect time frame to announce the comeback of NFL 2K25 so I don't think it's far fetched.

I'll remain cautiously optimistic, but either way NFL 2K (if it's an arcade - ish, sim mashup), Mafia, Borderlands or BioShock fans will be very, very happy.
