If they carry over non-vibration, that would be meh.

On a further note, I've played it on RPCS3. It's a great return, but outside of the gameplay I prefer virtually everything else in ESPN NFL 2K5 (and I prefer other things in ESPN NFL Football to ESPN NFL 2K5, but not the overall package). So my PCSX2 version of ESPN NFL 2K5 is hands down the best thing I have right now. I only wish they had a way of bringing the Xbox graphics into that version.

Now, I'm not downplaying gameplay as just "some minor thing," obviously it is huge. But the thing with legends, fictional stadiums, Dan Stevens sounding nasally, cheesy-*** presentation, small uniform numbers, etc. just gets in the way. Plus, no franchise unless you do incredible numbers of workarounds that I'm not willing to play with, especially like entering my own yearly stats or something silly.

I enjoy the silliness of the DS/Peter O'Keefe combo (they had great chemistry - you could tell they didn't record seperately) but I understand how for some it takes them out of the realism of a pro or even a collegiate broadcast. The last 2K football game was as bare bones as it gets, but they admittedly didn't have much of a budget as it was mostly for fan-service just to get the game out there.

T2/2K/VC are notoriously tight-lipped on their projects but it's hard to sustain any interest in their upcoming game when we aren't provided any insight into how development is going. The initial timeline for release has come and gone, which all we can hope is that the scope of the project grew and they're looking to keep that under wraps. I wouldn't mind some sort of a story mode as they've done in the WWE/NBA games, maybe that would qualify as "arcade" style to alleviate the exclusivity concerns. lol.

Maybe they will change gears yet again and push for a college game now that the NCAA is open to granting the license again. That new one set to debut is just Madden with a different coat of paint so they have nothing to lose. Who knows? Just spitballin' while continuing to see the decline of sports video games. lol.
