I’ve had the game freeze I think 3-4 times now. It seems to happen behind the net a lot for some reason?

I'm having some trouble with installation. I got a copy of 2k11 USA version and followed the installation instructions on facebook. The banner for the game shows as an X on Dolphin and when I press play a black box shows up and disappears. Nothing happens after that no matter how much I mess around with settings.

I've had more freezes sadly. Have not been able to finish more than one game without a freeze so far after playing 3-4 games on the default settings except resolution that I increased one step.

I like the new gameplay except the fact the puck seem to stick a little too much to the boards. Can be quite annoying at times, but I also like the puck battles it creates.


Another thing is the difficulty level. Have not played too many games yet but my first finished game I won 8-0 with Vancouver against Edmonton, using my current NHL Roster though.

You mean crash to the desktop or that "loop" from which you can recover with savestate (F8)?

To make the game more difficult, you have a bunch of sliders to play with.

My default sliders are equal for CPU, your CPU teammates and you. It's better for the newcomers and also for a position lock.
But it might be too easy for competitive gaming or if you need some constant challenge, because it's basically playing you and your CPU teammates v.s. CPU now.

So I would start by upping the CPU defensive aggressiveness and CPU shot accuracy.

Then lowering your CPU teammates checking/poke/sticklift help (tendencies)

The speed of your CPU shouldn't stop the game to start tho, must be something else...

Can you confirm that the game won't freeze for you without using the codes please?

The easiest way to disable them at once is to uncheck the "Enable Cheats" options in Configuration tab/General and then start the game WITHOUT using the F8.

I can try. Don't have very much time to run the game atm though...
