I believe this is the original developers of the original Operation Flashpoint. So not only are they competing for the same consumer they also had a breakup.

But on the other hand, the competition might make both games good.

This one looks like its shaping up to be a stellar game. I loved the original operation flashpoint on pc, man, I would spend hours creating scenarios, never really played the campaign. Looks like I'll have to buy another pc when this comes out, because I cant see it being as vast and customizable on a console.

It's interesting to see in the NAPA video that there is a train. I believe that is a first for the series. In another video I saw, they have included an aircraft carrier. If it's fully functional that will bring a lot to this game.

I gotta agree with TheCreep here, this game looks like a PC will get the best experience by far, since one of the greatest parts of the game is the user created content.

If the game is coming out soon I might just have to bide my time with the XBOX version. I really hope it comes with a mission editor so we can see some user created missions and campaigns on XBOX Live.

bit dissapointed there's not m40a3 sniper, but there's a few I'll be happy with and can't wait to try the russian anti-material rifle.

There are 8 different Rocket launchers alone!

FGM-148 Javelin.......OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!! I seen that thing on Future Weapons and its sick!
It actually penatrates Armor and buildings and blows the target up from the inside.
