It's not officially announced, but Medal of Honor is including a Battlefield 3 beta, so it is coming!

Nice. Battlefield 2 on the PC is one of my all time favorites. I've yet to play Modern Combat 2 but always heard good things about it.

For the people worried about having to buy MoH to play the beta, I doubt that will be the case. For example, SC: Conviction came with a beta key, but you can also pre-order the new ghost recon at gamestop and get a beta key too. It will probably be the same case for Battlefield 3.Comment

Yeah its true, I didn't pre-order MOH, but I still got a beta key. There is always some promo that gives them away. Still though, for AAA shooters these days, public betas are a must, and its a shame that publishers use them as a marketing ploy by making you pre-order the game, or buy another game to get access.Comment

Battlefield 3 Unveiling at GDC 2011
Battlefield 3 PC receiving “special effort”, won’t run on Windows XPElectronic Arts will unveil Battlefield 3 this March.
The publisher confirmed to the media it will host an unveil event for the game on Mar. 1, 2011, taking place during the week of the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Additionally, EA says it will also have new game announcements as well as hands-on time with many upcoming titles, including: Shadows of the Damned, Alice Madness Returns, Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning, and Crysis 2.
Those who purchased the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor this past fall received an invitation to the Battlefield 3 beta. Details about the beta's release date have not been announced.
Battlefield 3 is expected to ship in 2011
DICE developers have revealed a few new details on the upcoming Battlefield 3 on Twitter. Lead Designer David Goldfarb has allayed fears that the next Battlefield will be a console port, saying that while the game won’t be exclusive to the PC, the PC version of the game is getting extra attention. More news has emerged on the game’s system specs, too. Battlefield 3 is designed to run with DirectX 11, and won’t run at all on Windows XP.
Responding to questions on Twitter, Goldfarb said the game “will not be exclusive. We are putting special effort into the pc version, even for us, it’s extraordinary.” This is good news for those who were worried that DICE’s success on the consoles with Battlefield: Bad Company 2 coul make PC version of the game becoming a lower priority. it looks as though the opposite is true.
Meanwhile another DICE dev, Johann Andersson dropped a few details on the system specs that will be needed to run the game, saying that “Frostbite 2 is primarily developed for DX11. XP & DX9 is _not_ supported, 64-bit OS is recommended. Lots of time to upgrade if you havent!”Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment
