So what are some of your quirks?

For me, the temperature or volume in my car must be on an even number. This also holds true for volume of TV's in the house too.

I used to have problems falling asleep at night and sleeping through my alarm. Even though my sleep schedule is mostly regulated now, I still set my clock alarm and THREE alarms on my phone just in case.

When I'm watching TV, I'm always turning the volume up or down. Strangly enough, I also always have to have it on an even number.

I wear the same hoodie to all UMD hockey games.

When I eat, everything has to have its own place on the plate. I can't stand mixing things. When I see someone do things like mix their meat, mashed potatos, and corn all into one and eat it that way I look at them like they have two heads.

I set my alarm to an "off-number" something that doesn't end in 5 or 0... I'll wake up at 5:42 or something lol

When I had to be at school for my observation at 7:00, I had my alarm set for 6:22am

All my books in my classroom have to be all facing the same direction. Also my classroom has to be organized. When I go back to work after a sub has been there. I get like Rain Man. Very frustrating, I have some of Monk's quirks I guess.

I havent set an alarm to wake me up in 3 months. I just wake up whenever I need to. Its a very strange phenomena that started in college

I bet when you pump gas your ok with pumping something like $64.09 in gas to aren't you?

Because that's one of mine I always have to pump an even dollar amount. I believe it stems from my teenage years because back then I used to pay for everything with cash.

I have to pump it at with out the cents. Unless I am filling up the whole tank, but if I am just filing up a little bit it has to be that way.

Yeah, that's what I meant I just worded it wrong. I should have said pump it to a whole dollar amount.

I fall asleep to director commentaries on movies or some random Internet podcasts. The sound of someone else talking about an interesting topic soothes me, even if I've heard it before. Probably not the weirdest thing that I do, but I know a lot of people don't do that.

Also if I plop on the couch or on top of my covers for a nap, I have no problem sleeping with my shoes on. But if I decide to take my shoes off, my socks have to go as well. Actually come to think of it, I never like wearing just socks. The shoes always seem to come with them.

And like a thread once suggested, I too find myself sometimes showering without soap. It doesn't always seem necessary, and I've gotten many more positive remarks on how I smell with just shampooing, conditioning, deodorizing, and colognizing (? lol).

So what are some of your quirks?

I'm the same way, except factors of five are acceptable as well. So 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16... you get the picture.

My alarm time always ends with a 2

When I microwave food the time must end with a 2

I hate the numbers 6, 19, & 21

I'll go out of my way to avoid making a u-turn. I think this stems back from when I was younger groing up with my dad who drives a Semi.

I don't allow anybody to ever touch my hat. When my hat is not in use, I hide it.

I have to have my bed made before I get in it. Even if it was messed up all day, I'll make it before I get into it.

When I count I always skip the number 13. Always.

I have to have a fan on to sleep. I won't fall asleep in silence.


I have to sleep with my head in between 2 pillows.


I can't keep my feet still. Even when falling asleep, I'm tapping my foot. Drives my g/f insane.


I always flush the toilet in mid-pee.
