When I'm at the end of a jar of queso, I've been known to crush the Doritos up, add them to the jar, mix it around, and eat what's left with a spoon. But milk and a banana? That, my friend, is a bridge too far.

I'll take your word for it. [emoji4]

I eat popcorn with a spoon, so with Smartfood having doritos flavor popcorn, I'm not far off, minus banana and milk

Eating popcorn with a spoon is certainly a choice, lol.

Some consider them quirky, I don't.

I eat cereal and milk separately. Find mixing...yuck.

If I'm eating rice and chicken/steak or whatever, I finish the rice first and then eat the chicken/steak/meat second.

So I guess, I don't like mixing things

Interesting, not sure I've heard this before.

Note that I don't like my cereal getting soggy by any means, but the second go-around (filling up the bowl a little bit again to finish the milk off) is the good one because then you get milk that tastes a little bit like the sugary cereal you just had the first go-around.

As far as your second bit, I've said it before... probably in this thread... but I balance my meal when it comes to eating. A bite of this, a bite of that, a bite of the other thing, rinse and repeat. When I have eggs and waffles, I have 4-5 egg bites, then one quarter of my waffle, then proceed to my eggs again, etc. My rationing out process is a constant with any meal I eat.

I eat popcorn with a spoon, too. I hate having messy hands. Not even messy hands. If I have to use lotion, I wash my hands after because I hate the feeling.

Right, but if you just dry the one hand it's not going to end up being the same in how it feels as the one that never had water on it at all. That's the issue.

                        Re: Quirky things you do...

Don't know if this one counts since it's more smart/convenient than it is "quirky" but I keep a "log" (mainly just notes on my phone, but also a closet with things labelled) of "house maintenance" items. Lightbulbs are the main one, so if something goes I'll know the exact thing I'd need to replace/maintain it.

I'm not an electrician or anything like that, but I at least know the basic things for lighting so I'd know which bulbs/fixtures and on would be better, or brightness/colour temp and so on.

Same goes for other things too, if a part would need replacing, it's a good idea to know exactly what everything is. House wall needs touching up, I'd know the exact colour it already is, a filter for the furnace or a fan needs changing, I know the size/model.

I do the same or similar. I suppose mine is geekier than yours, though. I have an Excel file with bulbs, part numbers, what rooms, and a map of the electrical breakers. My house is old; it was built by my great-grandfather in the late 1930s/early 1940s when he was getting into the electrical business before changing careers later.

For some context, earlier in life, I was an automotive parts manager [and eventual regional manager], which is where I picked up on that. I miss those days. Life was so much more simple back then.

I dont like ice melting in my drink and watering it down and with Dr. Pepper as my most common drink of choice outside of beer, I keep an icetray in the freezer, but full of frozen Dr. Pepper, instead of ice water. I used to do the same with an icetray full of frozen tea but I dont drink tea now ,as much as I used to.
