Of course, I'm not talking about slanderous terms, especially racist, but moreso fairly common used words, phrases or terms -- maybe even give an example.... I'll start it off:

"Can do"

Example: "She has a 'can do' attitude!"

I've always hated when people say to give "110%" effort. It never motivated me. If I give it 100%, then I'm giving it everything I have, if I am giving it "110%" effort, then I was really not going all the way or else I would have not had any effort left to give.

"Could care less"

Simply because it's wrong how it's always used. People say it with the implication that they don't care at all. Well, if you could care less, it means that you do care some. Dummies.

"Lacksadaisical"

Also wrong. I had a big debate in a GRADUATE school class about this word. So many people think there's a "S" in this word, when there isn't at all. It's "lackadaisical"

"Uber"

Just overused now.

"Like"

When used as a filler word. Drives me crazy.

I use the word legit now.

I think I picked it up from my boss, without meaning to.

Funny how it works like that sometimes..
