I've grown tired of the word "fake" for obvious reasons which we won't get into here.

I suppose you could call it the "Black Web" since it's basically a cyber black market

Guess I should’ve clarified in that I meant it depends on what exactly you’re looking for.

No, the phrase is being used in commercials by the credit reporting companies that can't get their **** together to begin with. They're trying to make everyone afraid that they need to pay a fee to have some nitwits at Experian or Equifax etc..."scan the dark web" so as to somehow prevent identity theft. When we already know these big info companies and their awful record at protecting data is what leads to a lot of identity theft in the first place. Branding it as the "dark web" is just the next marketing scheme to grift a gullible John Q. Taxpayer out of $9.95/mo. Plus, it just sounds dumb.

I hate the phrase "cool beans". My mother in law uses it all the time.

My step-sister does this thing with her daughter where if she drops something she says "Uh-oh Spaghetti-O's."

My niece is only 2 but damn is it annoying when my step-sister says that. I hear it at every family function.

For some reason I just pictured you walking around your niece at the next function with a fielder's mitt!
