Re: Most annoying words, terms, phrases

So, as many of you know, I work at Best Buy in the Home Theater department. We always get these people that come in and ask, "Hey, are you the audio expert?" I may respond, no, but I know a lot about audio and they always reply, well I need the smartest one to help me with some stupid question. Nothing annoys me more.

Them: I need the such and such expert
    Me: Walks off

I can't believe people ask that.

I mean come on, we ALL know that 4K means 4,000.

Back to work and everyone keeps saying, "I haven't seen/talked to you since last year!"

              So annoying.

Maybe .... but on Jan. 1st, it was fun to say "2017 ..... seems like it was just yesterday"

Saw a post somewhere else that reminded me of this. When you are working in a company, business, etc., and it's referred to as a "family". No. It's not a family. Treating your work place as a family can open the door for so many compromising positions and subjective decision making.

When you have a conversation and the person responds with "Really".

                  Yes, ****ing really!

Seems like stan has become a popular term. I think it basically refers to a superfan of a celeb(stalker +fan?), basically originated from the Eminem song.

I've never heard of it...at least as being used to describe someone.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
