Re: NBA 2K25 Player Ratings - Updated As They Are Revealed

Here’s the top 5 three point shooters in NBA 2K25.

Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry: 99 3PT Shot
Phoenix Suns Grayson Allen: 93 3PT Shot
Phoenix Suns Kevin Durant: 92 3PT Shot
Dallas Mavericks Klay Thompson: 89 3PT Shot
Minnesota Timberwolves Mike Conley: 89 3PT Shot
        3PT PRODUCTION
        99 Stephen Curry: 357-875 (40.8 3PT%, 61 AST%, 13.0 FGA/36)
        93 Grayson Allen: 205-445 (46.1 3PT%, 91 AST%, 6.4 FGA/36)
        92 Kevin Durant: 168-407 (41.3 3PT%, 82 AST%, 5.2 FGA/36)
        92 Klay Thompson: 268-691 (38.8 3PT%, 94 AST%, 10.9 FGA/36)
        89 Mike Conley: 179-405 (44.2 3PT%, 80 AST%, 6.6 FGA/36)

In the case of Curry, KD, Klay, these guys are more rated on rep than production. They are perennially in the top five. A top 10 would be more useful information, they really only showed us two real ratings here.

Case in point - compare DiVincenzo's production to Klay's.

I'm just here staring at that matte court wondering if that's an 2k24 or 2k25 screenshot.

A little worrisome because the courts appeared to look better in other screens and footage. This is a weird time where they could be using different builds to show off videos and screenshots.

LOL @ Klay 92, too bad they didn't feel the need to accurately rate him so he could complain again like an entitled petulant brat every single chance he gets.

                  YIKES!

So player models don’t look any different (at all) than 2K22 (and that’s being generous), player faces don’t look improved graphically one bit, and in that Tatum pic at least, the court looks even more dull and less reflective than 2K24 (if that’s possible).

Did the graphical team just leave years ago and never get replaced? I don’t get it.

Ball Handle = On-Ball Shot Creation

                    Top 5 Ball Handle Ratings
                    99 Kyrie Irving: X P&R/36 + 4.6 ISO/36 = ? (Synergy data error - 10.0 is a good guesstimate)
                    97 Stephen Curry: 8.5 P&R/36 + 1.8 ISO/36 = 10.3
                    96 (+4) Trae Young: 12.0 P&R/36 + 3.3 ISO/36 = 15.3 (#2 in P&R rate)
                    95 (-2) James Harden: 5.6 P&R/36 + 4.1 ISO/36 = 9.7
                    95 (-3) Luka Doncic: 10.2 P&R/36 + 7.0 ISO/36 = 17.2 (#1 in ISO rate)

                    Curry is absurdly overrated (duh)
Harden is a shell of his former self but gets copy/pasted
Kyrie isn't even the best shot creator on his team, much less the league.

Shai and Brunson not being here is a joke.

                    P&R+ISO/36
                    14.7 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (#2 in ISO rate)
                    14.7 Jalen Brunson
                    14.6 Ja Morant
                    14.6 LaMelo Ball (#1 in P&R rate)
                    13.9 Cade Cunningham (#3 in P&R rate)
                    13.2 Damian Lillard
                    13.2 Anfernee Simons

                    2K24 Ball Handle (Sept 2023)
                    99 Kyrie
                    98 Luka
                    97 Curry
                    97 Harden
                    96 Morant
                    95 Lillard
                    93 Trae
                    93 Shai
                    88 LaMelo
                    88 Brunson
                    88 Simons
                    86 Cade

                    2K24 Ball Handle (June 2024)
                    99 Kyrie
                    98 Luka
                    97 Curry
                    97 Harden
                    96 Morant
                    95 Brunson (+7)
                    95 Lillard
                    94 Shai (+1)
                    92 Trae (-1)
                    88 LaMelo
                    86 Simons (-2)
                    86 Cade

Have any of the ERA teams been leaked yet? How come we can’t play head to head online with era teams?

Need Real2kInsider input. Am I wrong for thinking it's weird that Caruso is the only player from the 2 All-Defensive teams in the top 5 for steals? I know the two aren't mutually exclusive (being great at getting steals doesn't necessarily make you a great defender and vice versa) just something that stood out to me.

Didn't do too much research, but 3 of those guys (Thybulle, Caruso, Daniels) were actual top 3 in steals per 36 minutes last season and met the qualified amount of games played with ~2.7 steals
