    7'6" Rookie Center... Woah

I noticed a 7'6" rookie center in my CPU generated draft class. He's only 20 years old and projected to go in the top 5. Has anyone else come across a gem like this in their association?

Normally I don't have rookies on my team because I hate the artsy computer faces 2K puts on rookies, but I may reconsider that stance... I don't think I can pass up the chance to draft this guy.

My most recent draft in MyGM had the same thing. He went number 1 overall with a 99 rating. For some reason he only gets 10 minutes a game for the Knicks.

I haven't seen that. But I would definitely draft him or trade up to get him!

Saw this thread and thought I'd go into association to see if one would pop up in the auto-draft class. Lo and behold there's a 7'6" behemoth with the longest Greek name I've ever seen, but in my game he was 22 years old and expected to go undrafted. Same draft class there was a 7'1" PF/SF, but he was also 22 and not much of an actual prospect.

When i use a cpu generated draft class i always check whether or not there's a 7'6 guy. If there isn't i just trade my 1st rnd pick and edit one of the 2nd round or undrafted center scrubs to be 7'6. Just to have him as an end of the bench guy.

I'll usually edit the face and accessories as well. I don't touch ratings (except emotion to 99), tendencies (except "commit hard foul" to 100) or sig skills though.

I saw a guy like that in 2k13, 7'5 295 C out of Nevada. He was garbage when when he was drafted. He was picked 54th by the Kings and started out as a 48, by year 4 the guy was an 89 and the 4th best center in the league, I looked at the guys ratings and his potential was a 99. Pissed me off, I drafted a guy at 12 that only had a 52 for potential but started as a 71, year 4 he was a 75.

I like 7'6 Centers. Wish I could have a 7'3-7'7 player in MyCareer

Potential is everything, they develop fairly quickly.

Does it list any NBA Player Comparisons to these prospects? Would love to see a Shawn Bradley comparison. Lol...I remember one of the older 2K games would list them.

I haven't seen any comparisons to NBA players. I think 2K has done away with those.

I wonder why would they get rid of that feature. I remember in one of the older games, I drafted a prospect who was compared to Paul Pierce. I simulated a few seasons after drafting him and he turned out to be as good as Pierce. This little feature is useful.
