Steph Curry's shot is quick. Probably the best it's ever felt.

After 10 minutes with 2KU my first impression is that the game feels quick and responsive. Assuming the game is only on pro difficulty right now so might be tough to really judge. Pretty easy carving through the defense right now.

Ball definitely feels a little more live this year.

So far liking the feel of the game. Feels very smooth and responsive.

I like how there's a meter when doing layups. Feels very smooth & responsive overall. Just messed with it for a bit but will play more tomorrow.

On ball defense is back!!! Possibly the best best it has every felt.

Movement feels very clean and responsive in general. Dribbling and shooting feel great so far.

But damn man, those tutorial pop ups have got to go, lol. This is the third year in a row!

Onball D is great, Klay & Draymond are so fun to defend with.
Steph is a limitless range beast haha
If Steph, Klay or KD are open on the perimeter its money.
I like the lay up or hook shot shot meter, it seems to work very well.

Boxing out & rebounding is better than last yr, go up for a board as the ball hits the rim.

Some nice new player animations after hitting a shot or getting fouled.

Haha I know right! Option to turn off wouldn't hurt anyone.....

I'm PC only so I'll miss out this time (moved all my consoles last year). But keen to read all the impressions from you guys...!

Oh another thing I really like, AI players on your team who you aren't controlling actually switch on D pretty good this time, not like in 18 when they stood there looking lost haha

The BIGGEST think I'm noticing that the overall animations are not exaggerated whether it's rebounding, shooting, passing, catching, making a steal attempt.

I'm not a dribble specialist by any shape of the imagination, but the dribble gods will love how responsive the moves are.

Prelude always feels different from the actual game. Prelude '18 and NBA2k18 still feels different to this day.

Steal button actually works in prelude.

Full icon player control is still in the game - one of my favorite things about the game. Allows me to orchestrate my own freelance offense.

Clipping still an issue (don't click on spoiler tag if you don't want to see). It's never really been a gamebreaker to me, it doesn't really bother me all that much. But it's there.

I feel the game is much closer to true read and react basketball instead of waiting for certain animations to play out.
