    Tyreke Evans

I think people are sleeping on him, mainly because everyone has fallen in love with Brandon Jennings.

The Kings are playing well right now, and Evans is their go-to-guy on offense. They will be even better when Kevin Martin returns.

Yes Tyreke has been playing damn good ball. I had him and jennings neck and neck until Jennings went off for the 55 and hasn't really slowed down since. But Tyreke is clearly the number 2 rookie right now. When Martin gets back him and Evans will be a hell of a backcourt.

Jennings had a nice backstory and then was electric even to the doubters. So we'll all just keep up with that story, not fair at all but we're fans, we like our stories pre packaged

To be fair, he and the Kings have played better with Martin hurt.

Tyreke was my original pick for ROY, he's a matchup nightmare and versatile scorer. He needs to take better care of the basketball though.

Love watching Evans. He gets to where he wants on the court and uses that strength of his to finish.

good points imo. As good as Jennings has been, I dont know that I would take him over Evans....although I would take either

Love Jennings, but if I had to start a team with any of the rookies that I've seen play so far, I'd take Tyreke.

both rookies have had their main scorers out, and both rookies have been doing good. I wonder how both will play when martin and redd come back

I don't think Jennings' scoring will take a hit with Redd coming back. Redd can't create his own offense the way Jennings can.

Evans and Martin on the floor won't work out well, at least in my opinion. They both need to be in the SG role to be what their team needs them to be.

Evans has been having a monster year, but how can you justify taking him over Jennings right now? Jennings is a beast an has turned the team everybody thought would be the worst into one of the best.

Don't get me wrong, Evans has the Kings playing well, but not as well as the Bucks.

                        Re: Tyreke Evans

I think if Evans can get that ugly jumpshot sorted out he'll be an allstar down the road. He's got all the physical tools to be an outstanding pro and could develop into a lock down defender. He and Martin could work imo because Evans drive and kick game would work well with Martin's deadly outside J.

As for who i'd prefer in the long run i think Evans has the tools to be the better player so i'd pick him but Jennings is amazing to watch. For some reason I think Jennings may end up being one of those "puts up great numbers on bad teams" kinda guys but i'd be happy to be proven wrong.

His frame and physical tools give him a higher ceiling than Jennings, IMO.

definitely, although with the speed that Jennings has, he can definitely be a special player too, but you're right, Evans has a higher ceiling IMO too, and I'm a Bucks fan.

I couldn't help but glance at his stats recently and he's putting up 20-5-5... Remember that one guy a few years ago who averaged 20-5-5 during his rookie season?
