    Pro Bowl Selections

Since they are starting to come out little by little until tonight, let's start the discussion.

Five Ravens made it: Ngata, Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Ray Rice, and Le'Ron McClain.

Honest opinion - Reed doesn't deserve it this year. He has missed a few games, and has been a step slower.

Ngata has deserved it for two years. Ray Rice more than deserves it. Ray Lewis still deserves it, but is noticeably slower.

McClain is another question mark. He is an average blocker at best, but he seems to be getting the Alstott treatment, where because he runs more than other FB's he gets more pub.

London Fletcher did not make the Pro Bowl....again.

Congrats to Mr. Rodgers, Mr. Woodson, and Mr. Collins though.

San Diego Chargers represented by Antonio Gates, Kris Dielman, Phillip Rivers, Nate Kaeding and Kassim Osgood.

Disappointed to see that Vincent Jackson was only named as an alternate.

Wow not one Bengal made it. Thats kinda shocking considering the year some of the guys are having on that team.

Really surprised Mario Williams made it in, he didn't do much this year pass rush wise....against the run he's always been good though.

              Andre Johnson- no brainer
Cushing and Ryans have been great I think they deserve the nod here.

Aside from maybe swapping Shaub and Brady, I think they got the QBs on both sides (particularly the NFC) spot on. Though, I do think this year was as easy as any to make the right choices there.

Also thought Will Smith should have gotten the nod over Peppers too...

Yeah that is disappointing. Sproles didn't make it in special teams as a back up or anything?

Cribbs definitely is the guy who deserves to start.

Matt Schaub's anonymity in Houston hurt him. I think he was slightly better than Brady.

Welker is the Pete Rose of WR's. Tons of chances make him appear better than he really is. Moss or Vincent Jackson are better players.

How in the world did Jon Beason not make it? W/all the injuries he's had @ DT & surrounding him @ LB, this was the finest season of his career. W/all respects to Vilma, he's holding Beason's ticket.

Peppers shouldn't have made it. I'd switch Will Smith of NO.

Carl Nicks should've at least been an alternate and I'm not sure what Julius Peppers did to deserve getting in.

Pepp still is in the top 10 in sacks. Its amazing when you think about how much he coasts @ times. So unless you're someone who watches him every game, as most voters don't, you might conclude he's the same Pro Bowl-caliber player. But I agree, he didn't deserve selection.

Yeah I actually like Peppers but he has too many games where you don't even remember him being on the field.

I'm surprised that Tony Gonzales didn't make the NFC Pro Bowl roster. He had been selected 10 consecutive times, dating back to the 1999 season.

Jake Long is the only Miami pro bowler, that makes sense.
