    Brandon Jennings is the Truth

Man this dude is the truth, put up 55 on GSW(yeah i know they suck). Averaging 25 per game now *******, he is ROY forget blake griffin i know its early and he will hit a slump but this dude is talented. Not even Lebron put up 55 in his rookie year. DUDe was only 3 points away from passing Wilt for most most points in a game by a rookie. This kid has a bright future.

DAMN YOU KNICKS HE WAS RIGHT THERE AND YOU TOOK FREAKING HILL Come on Walsh.

10 games into the season. Cut out the ROTY talk.

Great 10 games though. Couldn't ask more from the dude.

Shooting and defense (on ball) has surprised many. But again, only 10 games
    Concrete evidence/videos please

      A couple things:

      1. I'm not ready to crown Jennings yet in terms of him being "special". Meaning I still don't know if he'll ever be a CP3/Deron type PG.
      2. NYK are for picking Hill. I don't care how many times I've said it, or others have said it. I will keep saying this.
      3. Ty Evans is having a nice season as well, so ROY is still wide open. If Griffin returns on time he'll give it a nice run.

Will Jennings have a greater [and more winning] impact than Kenny Anderson? That's who I'm reminded of. Any other comparisons?

Well i was hoping his assist would be higher but he scoring type PG more than D-rose. But his defense is a surprise because he wasn't a good defender in H.S.

And you also used the word BUT which negated the "Its early" comment.

I just love the versatility that BJ's shown so far. Had like 9 rebounds in his first game, and like 8 or 9 assists in one of the games too. He can do a bit of everything. Last night will definitely be the rookie performance of the year though. And it'll probably be the best 2nd half performance in the NBA this year considering he went like 18/20 in the 2nd half. That's incredible.

Bet you a hundred he's ROY, on topic though, he did it in 3 quarters basically, even more impressive.

People who thought this guy was a "jerk" or whatever were probably swayed a bit by the media. The guy never really did anything that crazy to make me say he was more egotistical than he should have been. Every athlete is supposed to have an ego and be arrogant.

This quote says a lot about Jennings:

“The shots kept going in, and after a while the rim kept getting bigger and bigger and I just felt like I couldn’t miss,” Jennings said. “I guess I was in that zone, you know? But that doesn’t happen without [Andrew] Bogut down low, scoring in the post and opening things up for me. I’m not doing this alone here.”

I can put up 35 points against the Warriors. So I am sure a pro can put up more points than me.

Didn't Charlie V drop 42 points as a rook? He sure has become a superstar.

lol at knicks fans saying warriors suck..now I've seen everything..

anyways getting back to the topic. That was the best performance by a rookie by far. In history. And that's saying something.

and to people saying "why didn't knicks draft him", he wouldn't be able to put up even close to these numbers on that team. On bucks he's the #1 option along with Bogut and has ALL the freedom he needs. On knicks he would be option #5, just like curry, flynn, griffin etc.

Fact of the matter is, although it's really early in the season Jennings has been the most impressive rook by far.

Judge the man off of his skill set and personality and circumstances.

Charlie V was never going to be a superstar. You could tell that off the bat with him. At best you knew he was going to be a decent role player.

Jennings has proved, at least IMO that he could be more than a role player.

However I've already questioned how "good" Jennings can really be in this league. The way he plays.. I don't remember a the last PG that played similar to Jennings to have won a title.

And the Knicks are still ********. Hill will never amount to anything of mention. Don't know why he merited a lottery pick. He should have been picked in the 20's.
