Hi everyone, we are looking for some feedback on the SOS feature. Just answer the questions below thx.

• Do you use Sound of the Show? If so, how extensively? (anywhere from assigning just your created player’s walkup music to assigning all Music and/or Yell and Chant categories for all players and teams)
• Do you find the Playlist Creator intuitive and easy to use?
• How easy or difficult is the Music Editor to use?
• Do you record custom yells and/or chants? Do you import other yell and chant audio files?
• Are there additional Music or Yell/Chant categories that you’d like to see for Players or Teams?
• What changes or improvements would you like to see for this feature?

  I do use SotS, I try to give each teams every day starter an at bat walk up entrance and each teams closer an entrance song.
  
• Do you find the Playlist Creator intuitive and easy to use?
  It wasn't easy for me when I first started using it but over time it became easier after I used it a lot.
  
• How easy or difficult is the Music Editor to use?
  It's only hard for me to use if I try to use the part where you set the song to begin at a certain time in the song so I usually just leave it at default.
  
• Do you record custom yells and/or chants? Do you import other yell and chant audio files?No.
  
• Are there additional Music or Yell/Chant categories that you’d like to see for Players or Teams?

Exactly the point of the thread. This isn't a promise of anything, we are just trying to gauge how people have used the feature in the past. Since we don't have data on it.

It does but there is no way to use music other than the in game music right now, right?

I know Sony is planning to add this feature (mp3 import) soon.

I know, just wanted to give you some crap, LOL. But if the can be a feature on the ps4 I would definitely try using it to its fullest potential.

• How easy or difficult is the Music Editor to use? R1/L1 somewhat cumbersome, but rather easy (wish new design)
  
• Do you record custom yells and/or chants? No Do you import other yell and chant audio files? Import other yell/chant audio files
• Are there additional Music or Yell/Chant categories that you’d like to see for Players or Teams? custom player/team signs
• What changes or improvements would you like to see for this feature? Expanded jukebox, could not add custom audio/sounds for all teams and players due to lack of space

I always put in the team specific broadcast music between innings ans also all of the team specific homerun, walk, and victory music. I also load tons of my own music into the "Jukebox" section.

Do you use Sound of the Show? Yes - The reason why I have not gone Next Gen.

If so, how extensively? Walkups, home runs, chants and yells form team and some players. Win/loss songs.
Do you find the Playlist Creator intuitive and easy to use? Easy to use, but a pain in the *** to get the amount of songs you need due to the song limit. Having to burn songs into 3s per track to get enough variety in songs.
How easy or difficult is the Music Editor to use? Easy
Do you record custom yells and/or chants? Record yells via my sons,wifes and my cheers.
Are there additional Music or Yell/Chant categories that you’d like to see for Players or Teams? Nope
What changes or improvements would you like to see for this feature? A much bigger song allowance so we don't have to burn songs in 3s.

Note: Not planning on buy next gen until mp3 playback is back. Not planning on buying the show until SOS is back. I enjoy this feature too much to give up my PS3.

Awesome. Glad you're gathering feedback.

Lack of custom audio ruined the PS4 experience for me. It's a shame. Every year I've bought The Show on the first day or release, and did my work to get the custom sounds just right. Everything from changing the broadcast presentation to Fox Sports music to having proper walk-up songs. It creates the mood for me. It builds my excitement for bringing up a great batter when I recognize that song coming on. It's GREAT.

The Music Editor is easy enough, although it has room for improvement. I can't think of anything in particular though.

I never record chants or yells, I find the game has a decent selection.

I definitely want MP3 support back in The Show.

1. Yes across the board - I frequently hear Homer Simpson going WHERE'S MY BURRITO? and Henry Rowengartner PITCHER'S GOT A BIG BUTT!

5. Separate hit sounds for doubles & triples, double plays, called/swinging Ks.

• 6. Put pre-game themes back to playing throughout the intro & during home P's warmup if he doesn't have a song assigned. If the P has a song assigned, then have it play when the commentary introduces him.
• Don't have the inning intermissions fade out when the broadcast does (or give us an toggle option).
• Allow random selecting of songs from an XMB playlist for various events (walks, HRs, Ks, errors, foul balls).
• Put win/loss back to playing through and not stopping/starting over after Player of the Game segment.
• Allow assigning a song to multiple/all teams at once.
• Fix songs not sticking for certain teams (all revert to default after turning game off, this has happened since '10 for NEW minor teams after they relocate - Richmond Flying Squirrels (previously Connecticut Defenders) in '10, Pensacola Blue Wahoos (previously Carolina Mudcats) in '12 & '13, El Paso Chihuahuas (previously Tucson Padres) in '14; Huntsville Stars will be in Biloxi next season, new name TBD).
• Extend list to infinite. Currently the limit is 499 for Jukebox/In-Game Cues combined, can that be uncombined?
• Volume control - Could barely hear some of them in '13 & '14.

These are all I can think of at this time, will edit/add more if anything else comes to mind.

  Yes would love to have pre-game in stadium music, pre game warm up pitch music, also single, double, & triple sounds slots

Would be great to have a "playlist" that can be assigned to a sounds slot.. Example i can assign a playlist of 10 songs that can be assigned to my base hit music, and the 10 songs will be randomized.
Also dont like the music that plays when there is an away out, either remove that or give us the ability to use our own slot for that

-Loved it on PS3, always assigned walk up/HR music.
-Tried custom chant the first year it was released, but didn't like the way it sounded, never touched it again.

* Do you find the Playlist Creator intuitive and easy to use?
-For the most part, it was a little tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's fine.


* How easy or difficult is the Music Editor to use?
-first time, very difficult to understand, seemed like I had trouble figuring out how to import the song to edit.
-once you get the hang of it, it's fairly easy to use. I think a demo mode would help.


* Do you record custom yells and/or chants? Do you import other yell and chant audio files?
-No, to me it always sounded a bit off, didn't like it.

* Are there additional Music or Yell/Chant categories that you’d like to see for Players or Teams?
-none come to mind.

* What changes or improvements would you like to see for this feature?
-a demo video would make things easier for first time users.
