Yeah I hear you. It's just 2K can be too animation heavy at times. They need to find a balance where I don't feel like the control is taken completely out of my hands at times while maintaining that smoothness or realism that you're referring to. I know It's easier said then done but if any company can pull it off it's 2K. -

On topic: Body scans. Good.
Off topic: Animation heavy.
I think being able to break out of any animation is a bit unrealistic. While I do agree there should be SOME animation we should break out of if need be, I would challenge you to go out on the basketball court and try and break out of your movements at any point you wanted to. I garantee you will find it difficult to control your body as much as you would like. It is a video game at the end of the day but I'm going to appreciate the developers that don't sacrifice realism for user control like other companies.
Because you are certainly 2k restricted from doing certain things where in real life you are able to (i.e. jumping up and down, up and down, up and down immediately and consecutively, quickly. Think about "Dennis Rodman." Swatting at the ball without getting off balance; swatting at the ball and recovering immediately isn't possible like that in real life. Getting stuck in the box out animation and can't get the rebound...). Yes, I probably know the reason behind not being able to jump up and down quickly and swatting at the ball multiple times, but still, it's rather unrealistic. And no I don't swat at the ball every chance I get, I always switch to on ball defense and simply stay in front of the person. Swatting at the ball probably happens about 5-10 times a game, strategically).
I decided to fire up the demo of the other game, and that game definitely is more responsive.
Note: I only have two games for the PS4: MLBtheShow14 and NBA2k14, and that's it. Was going to buy NBA2k15 until I found out that they essentially took out the halftime show.Last edited by strawberryshortcake; 07-01-2015, 06:15 PM.Comment

This is great news!! I'm all about realism. No more tree trunks for legs for guys who have skinny legs? Lanky guys will actually look lanky? Different size waists and torsos?
Hopefully they can player skin tone correct as well (Giannis is too dark in 2K15).
I am happy.

If not, give us 3 uniform sizes that we can put on the players.Comment

Great move.
I do wonder of these are the '2 words' that were teased. Ronnie hasn't said it was, so I assume the 2 words is something else.Comment
