Re: High amount of REBOUNDS
You can't look at JUST rebound numbers and try and fix it. Shot attempts, FG%, free throws, turnovers, etc are all possible problems that lead to unrealistic rebounding numbers.

Re: High amount of REBOUNDS
You have to slow the game speed and limit the possessions by lowering the CPU shot tendencies across the board and raise fg% 3pt fg% and if not in transition use the shot clock.....I'm frustrated to about the rebound numbers but since I slowed the game speed to 45-47 and lower CPU tendencies and raised both fg% and fouls I noticed better stimulated realistic stats and avg 43-45 rebounds per side even though fg%s are sometimes in the high 40's and low to mid 50'sComment

Re: High amount of REBOUNDS
The only way to get below 30 defensive rebounds is to slow the CPU way down (very difficult to do effectively with sliders without making the game too easy), play a slower/more methodical game as the User, increase fouls to keep shot attempts/rebound opportunities low, etc etc.Comment

Re: High amount of REBOUNDS
I know the point of play slower as user, but i dont want to look the 24 second clock every time to use it full with the goal of make less possesions. Re: High amount of REBOUNDS
I know its really hard to get real stats period because all of the nuances of the game of basketball can't be include so there are more overall possession per team every game which leads to inflated defensive rebounding totals....Comment

Re: High amount of REBOUNDS
There is something wrong with the rebound stats. If you compare the page of team comparison and the box score (count the rebounds for all players in a team) there is a difference especially for offense rebounds. The off. Rebounds in the team comparison are always higher which not match with the player stats. The rebounds in the page of shot chart match with the rebounds in the box score. I think the stats of rebounds in the team comparison are false.Comment

I posted this same thing in the thread about out of the box sliders. You should go on there and make it aware that you're seeing it also so we can get it fixed in case it affects MyGm stats. If it's cosmetic I don't care .

Re: High amount of REBOUNDS
This might be because teams are credited rebounds when a shot bounces out of bounds and no one grabs it. For example, if someone bricks a shot off the side of the rib and it bounces off a defender and bounces out of bounds, it is counted as a "team rebound" but no individual player gets credit for a rebound. There is something wrong with the rebound stats. Re: High amount of REBOUNDS
And this is a big bug. Damn. Also, the same with the blocks... when you make a block, a rebound is credited. This might be because teams are credited rebounds when a shot bounces out of bounds and no one grabs it. High amount of REBOUNDS
Wait, do you mean the player who blocks the shot gets the rebound? Because that is incorrect. But if you mean the player who grabs the blocked shot (or the team who gets the ball if it went out of bounds) gets credited with a rebound, then it is working correctly. Grabbing a blocked shot is the same as grabbing a missed shot, a rebound.GT: minibeast100
