STATCAST SPRINT SPEED CONVERTED TO MLB THE SHOW RATING

Sprint Speed is Statcast’s foot speed metric, defined as “feet per second in a player’s fastest one-second window.” The Major League average on a "max effort" play is 27 ft/sec, and the max effort range is roughly from 23 ft/sec (poor) to 30 ft/sec (elite).

    Formula used 71/71*99=99

Brett Gardner is way faster than 74 and Ellsbury faster than 84

Awesome, when I first saw the title I thought to myself, Cory Spangenberg....but you're already on it! Good job man. A lot of these look good.

Good additions OP. I'd throw in Reyes on the Mets. 76 is a little low still. He's still more like an 80 or 81 when semi healthy IMHO.

I agree Brett Gardner is faster than that but both are 32 now and have regressed a bit so i think Jacoby's 84 isn't bad and Gardner should be like 86.

Ellsbury had 94 speed last year if I'm not wrong, - 10 is a lot, I understand they're not in their prime but I don't think they have regressed that much. They just don't try to steal a lot of bases for some reason but the speed is there.

Tim Anderson is 85 speed but he honestly probably deserves to be around 95 if I'm being honest. Dude can fly.

Yeah he had 94 but in my mind he was overrated last year i think hes more in the mid 80's like they rated him this year which is still great, that 94 was ok in his 20's but hes 32 most speedsters have regressed a bit by that age then they take a big hit as they enter the mid 30's. Its tough without baserunning times etc thats why i like to see what other people think.

I agree with an upgrade to Anderson. I'm not too aware of his actual statcast ratings, but when I watch him in game he flies around the bases. I remember him having a high speed rating as a prospect as well. I will be putting him in the 92-95 range once I get my hands on the OSFM rosters.

SCEA gave him 85 and i checked and he had a scouting grade of 70 on speed which is plus plus and like between 89-85

I created this scale to have an idea where they fall it corverts the 80-20 scale to The Show 99-0 scale its not perfect but useful for young guys
