Thanks so much for the help. What do you mean by “fits”? Is this how well they match up with the style you play under the coaching tab? Or is it how you play on the court?

That is super cool that the game is that intricate. Coming over from madden, it baffles me how much deeper this franchise mode is.

Coaching style matters a lot. For example: The Rockets wins all of the time in this game. Why? Their coaching style is fits the personnel plus the personnel is good.

Quick question. I'm half way through my first My League season (past the trade deadline) and I have trade deadline OFF because I like to update the rosters when real life trades happen like Blake Griffin today. So I'm trying to make the trade with the Pistons but I don't see the option to actually make traded. Any help figuring out why would be appreciated.

The same thing happened to me there must be some kind of glitch or something where if you turn it off after the deadline ends you cant reverse it and make trades

What I do know is make a couple backup saves and if something like that happens you can go back to the old files. Its also good if something happens to your main save and prevents from potentially having to start over

I control all 30 teams in my MyLeague so I just released the players involved in the trade then added them to their respective teams. It was somewhat of a hassle but I just wish having trade deadline OFF would actually work.

Started Grizzlies MyLeague with KingGro's roster and sliders. Traded Chalmers and Mclemore for Barea and Finney Smith and signed Briante Weber. We are going to be without Conley for most of regular season but I believe that this team can make the playoffs without him. We will have to fully embrace grit & grind style of play and our offense is going to rely mostly on Marc Gasol followed by Barea and Tyreke Evans. I really expect our defense to be one of the best in the league and the biggest part of our identity. If we manage to stay in the playoff race until February/March when Conley should come back i think we are going to make it.

Just played through a 76s season (all 82 games, 12 minute quarters). I had a lot of fun with this team. I had a Mavs MyLeague and went 0-23, so this was a refreshing change.

I went 44-38 and got the 6 seed. I opened up 15-21. My bench was killing me so I traded a 1st and Bayless for Lou Williams and that got my season on track. In the East, Toronto went 58-24, the Bucks and Washington went 56-26.

In the West, Houston went 69-13 and Golden State 67-15. Dallas won 19 games and Phoenix 21. Im not sure if it was my rosters or nor, but it's nice to finally see some real separation between team's win tallies. Actually both Houston and GS had point differentials of 15+. Phoenix was -11.4 and Dallas -13.8 so I probably made it too large.

Ive rotated Holmes, Booker and Amir Johnson through the back up big spots but none have played really well. TLC shot 27% on 3s and Justin Anderson 34% so I cant find a spot for them on the playoff roster.

Simmons was averaging 16/9/8 before I traded for Lou Williams and Fultz came back. Since I had to move him to PF he's only put up 11/5.

Ive got a bunch of highlights from my season (both me and from the CPU). This is a very high quality sim basketball game.

When you’re signing players during the free agency period in the offseason they will have stars next to their name to indicate how much they will fit to your teams system. Most of the time the best players that fit are older players. For example, Tony Allen will be good for just about any team’s system lol idk why, as well as someone like Jamal crawford. Many of the younger players may have like 2.5 to 3 stars at best, when the older players will have 4-4.5 stars sometimes which is a bummer bc when I say older a lot of them are in their 30s. The only upside about having older players in teams is that it helps with the younger players chemistry. You’ll need veterans in the team I guess.

I started a clippers mygm to see what it would look like. Plus looking a long term move to Vegas. Made some fun trades out of the norm of realism. Whiteside for Jordan. Lou Wlliams and Beverly plus picks to Cleveland for salary, Brooklyn pick and Crowder.

I was going to try to keep it semi realistic after however Andrew ruined my team in his obsession with Mike Beasley. Usually those trades aren’t invasive however this dude traded Rivers for Beasley AND Joakim Noah. I ended up giving a good bit in picks to send him to Chicago with Dunn coming back.

Gave PG13 a huge contract with no trade clause and Wade took a 5 mill deal. So we should be competitive with a Dunn, Wade, George, Creek Freak, Whiteside starting. Now it’s to trying to find how to get yes votes to Vegas

So I started playing MyGM and actually play the games. I play the games by simcasting it until 4th quarter then jump in if the opponent's lead is around 6-20 points. Everything went fine. Won 4 championships (almost 3peat but a bad pass cost me a title against 76ers) and I managed to get 3rd pick (Mirko petrovic) and screwed Dallas by trading Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson.

Problem is, I want to equip some MyGM bade, but I cannot since it's bugged I think. Is there a way to do it? I have all the badges which mmakes the team too OP. Been playing mygm but simming siince 2040 and with all the badges, you can will all the games or even get 75-7 around 2030 if you have a great team since everyone can max out their potential even 2nd round picks.

Just started the second year of my Suns MyLeague and am excited with the young team I have. I started half way through this season and embraced the tank moving Monroe, Len and Ulis. Ended up winning only 25 games with the worst record in the NBA.

Thankfully won the draft lottery and picked Trae Young 1st overall to pair with Booker. I traded the 18th pick, TJ Warren and 2 seconds for the 9th pick to grab Mohamed Bamba who had fallen. In FA I signed Dante Exum, Norman Powell and Torrey Craig on small contracts

My rotation at the moment is
PG - Trae Young, Dante Exum
SG - Devin Booker, Troy Daniels
SF - Josh Jackson, Norman Powell
PF - Dragan Bender, Marquese Chriss
C - Mohamed Bamba, Tyson Chandler

Why this veteran stuff was ever were explained by devs? Maybe is it just your guess? I think if you play well and have a lot of wins, it is all which matters for chemistry, besides some players still can be upset because of minutes they get, but it is different point.

Things I can't explain is why Chris Middleton was never progressing even if I would give him slightly higher potential, just can't explain it. We were number one team in the East, NBA Champs, he was getting tons of minutes and still no progress but also he was regressing at some other things. This is really a big letdown because you don't know why it happens.

Yeah man I agree, I did notice this with a few of my players as well and others throughout the league. Hopefully down the line they will find a way for it to be more in depth and really explain how player progression works. Have you tried adjusting the progression/regression sliders? I have Player progression at 60 and regression at 35 and it seems to work fine for me. I noticed a few players regressed like Malik monk. I’m currently in 2018-2019 season in my league and he is at a 73 and I believe he was at a 74-75. I’m controlling the bulls. Most of my players are starting to show some development . Zach Lavine has only increased his rating to a 82. I’ll check later to see how other players around my league have developed. What i notice to is that the player progression/regression seems to show more during simmed games instead of when you actually play them which sucks. Like for example, I did a test my league to test the development of a created player I made bc I planned on setting it up like a my career type of thing since I’m already burned out on my career mode already. He started out at 75 and by the end of the season he was around 83 I believe, and this was just from simming the season, developer badges as well. The new my league i started, i created myself with the exact stars and badges that my player has and been playing the games. I’m 15 games in and his rating is at 86. I remember someone saying that coaching badges and player badges matter too. Try equipping Middleton with the legendary work ethic badge. I think somehow this helps with increasing their potential rating as well. Even though my player doesn’t own the LWE badge in my career, the create player in my league does and i think this may be why his rating increases. Not too sure.

Playing as the Heat this year just to change it up a bit and having fun so far they have a odd squad a lot of guys that are overqualified role players but are going well. Goran Dragic is unstoppable for me he always finds a way to get in the paint and Whiteside is a animal in the post esp rebounding you guys check my dynasty out link is in my sig.
