Dutchmen no match for Central Michigan, los3 41-35
Summary: The first quarter was enough for Central Michigan to take down Penn A&T. After the Dutchmen defense held the Chippewas to just a field goal. But the ensuing drive, Ritchy Teague threw possibly the worst pass of his four years as a starter. On a screen pass to Danny Nwosu, Teague threw the ball directly into the paws of CMU defensive end Chris Kantzavelos who took it the remaining 32 yards to the house.
Penn A&T did their best the rest of the game however, they never got any closer than 10 points until the final two minutes of the game after Nwosu plowed in from one-yard out to make it 41-35 but the defense just couldn't get it done.
For Penn A&T to have a top 10 run defense in the country, they did a beyond poor job of slowing up quarterback Jamal McClelland who rushed for 91 yards. Scott Frost's spread option offense proved to be of their most diifficult tasks to date.
