    ------------------------
Dutchmen no match for Central Michigan, los3 41-35
Summary: The first quarter was enough for Central Michigan to take down Penn A&T. After the Dutchmen defense held the Chippewas to just a field goal. But the ensuing drive, Ritchy Teague threw possibly the worst pass of his four years as a starter. On a screen pass to Danny Nwosu, Teague threw the ball directly into the paws of CMU defensive end Chris Kantzavelos who took it the remaining 32 yards to the house.

Penn A&T did their best the rest of the game however, they never got any closer than 10 points until the final two minutes of the game after Nwosu plowed in from one-yard out to make it 41-35 but the defense just couldn't get it done.

For Penn A&T to have a top 10 run defense in the country, they did a beyond poor job of slowing up quarterback Jamal McClelland who rushed for 91 yards. Scott Frost's spread option offense proved to be of their most diifficult tasks to date.

Re: Pennsylvania A&T (NCAA 14 Teambuilder Dynasty)

Anyone else get itchy this time of year? Well, yes cuz of my allergies. But also for some football. Based on the life around this board right now, I'd say you're all the same way.

The last time I posted this dynasty was in March. To say I have been busy since then, is probably the biggest understatement of my life. Work, coaching baseball, playing baseball, writing, weddings, vacations. I haven't had time to breathe. Luckily, things are starting to slow down (relatively), which has me smelling the pigskin, in real life and virtually.

So let's say we pick back up with this, ay? I apparently have a really hard time finishing seasons and posting. I have two games remaining in the 2016 season, my official fourth season of this dynasty.

My last loss knocked me out of bowl contention. My program is under investigation for NCAA violations about paying a recruit. Trying times in Lancaster but I'm going to get back into it. In what fashion, I have no idea. My goal is to get more information out and make it less time consuming for myself. This probably means less graphics but again, we shall see.

So welcome (third time I've said that in this thread? lmao)! Let's play some football!

Re: Pennsylvania A&T (NCAA 14 Teambuilder Dynasty)

              Four commit to Penn A&T

Despite the possible turmoil surround the Pennsylvania A&T football program, they received four verbal commitments earlier this week. Two from Western Pennsylvania, one from New York, and one from New Jersey.

These four pickups add to an already large list of future Dutchmen for the Class of 2017. They currently have 17 verbal commitments with just two games left in the season.

Interestingly enough, the two from western PA are also from the same high school, Hempfield Area High School. Zach Schannauer (Greensburg, PA) and Kapri Wells (Jeannette, PA) are labeled as outside and and middle linebackers, respectively. Schannauer stands at 6'3, 254lbs, while Wells is undersized at 5'11 228lbs.

Schannauer is ranked a two-star by ESPN and 247, and Wells is listed as a three-star prospect by all major recruiting platforms. They will join a crowded linebacker group with Hodari Christian and Darrien Howard returning in 2017.

Offensively, Tim Keyser continues to bolster his future offensive line by adding tackle Robbie Carroll (Bellefonte, NJ). The Bellefonte Area product is slightly undersized for the outside at 6'1 287lbs and will most likely redshirt to add some weight and work on form.

Finally, they received a commitment from running back Jurod Harrison (West Islip, NY). A three-star back out of St. John The Baptist, he is known for his speed, being listed as running a 4.38 40 yard dash. He is also listed as 6'1 200lbs.

Harrison used that speed this summer to become a sports viral sensation. During a Pitt University football camp, Harrison was filmed racing star Pitt wide receiver Tyler Boyd and beating him by several strides.

Some may wonder why he slipped through the cracks and will end up at Penn A&T. Rivals lists his blocking ability and hard hands as factors in his recruitment.

With the season winding down, it will be interesting to see if Penn A&T is able to convince any other student athletes that the program is in good standing.

Thanks, bigmike! I wish I would've been able to finish this season out before fading away for a bit. Glad to see you still around!
                --------------------------
EDIT: I'm not going to post matchup previews for the final two games of the year. I can't make a bowl game as the best I can do is 5-7 and I just want to get this season over with. That kind of hurts saying because I will be losing the original freshman who started with the program.

No fault other than my own there for not getting through the year before the summer came along.

Penn A&T triumphant in MAC Slugfest, 41-38

                    Summary
In a game that makes offensive coordinators happy, Penn A&T found a way to gut out the victory against the Akron Zips. The hosts took the lead after a methodical opening drive but they never led again the rest of the game.

Despite missing starting running back Marcus Williams due to a bruised shoulder, the run game remained the key factor in the Dutchmen' strategy. They went onto rush for 339 yards as a team, with senior Stone eclipsing the century mark for the first time since 2015 against Buffalo.

QB Rithy Teague actually missed most of the second quarter and some of the third to be evaluated for a concussion. He scrambled and in the process of the tackle, he was kneed in the helmet, forcing him into the locker room for testing. He would return.

In his place, true freshman Adrian Foster performed admirably, tossing a fourth down touchdown to Spencer Gaston.

Defensively, Xavier Pippen picked off his second pass of the year and Jordan Smith forced a fumble as well, while Darrien Howard and Jonah Glover led up front with two TFL apiece.

Lol that's the realest sh*t. The number of times I've had to read back through my dynasties to get caught up is absurd.

Honestly, every time I go on a hiatus I go back and refresh my memory from 1-2 seasons prior. It not only reminds me of how the dynasty is going (which is huge, as it would lose all luster if I couldn't remember how previous matchups and seasons have gone), but it gets me pumped to start again! lol

Sheen, I knew I was following this before, but for the life of me couldn't remember. I kept thinking "Pennsylvania A&T...huh?" I clicked back a few pages and as soon as I read "Dutchmen" I instantly went "Oh right! The Dutchmen!" lol, I guess the unique name stuck. I may have trailed off a bit toward the end as life got in the way, as it often does, but I'm in again. I know you're motoring to end this season and get to the next, but I gotta say the season has turned around a bit after a 1-5 start if I read right. 4-7, 3-2 in the last 5 games...not bad. something to build on for sure.
                          Check out my dynasty:

You're absolutely right man. I honestly think the lost to Central Michigan that ended my bowl hopes, also had an affect on me putting it down for awhile. Life got in the way but I was just so bummed that I didn't have that extra push to go back and finish the last two games of the season.

But looking back on it, the rough start to this season shocked me. This is without a doubt the best team I have had and will have, for at least the next two or three years, after I lose this group of seniors. We've been so reliant on the run this year which I like.

However, the defense is just abysmal, and honestly I think it has something to do with my slider set. I have the talent on the field and I literally cannot stop teams through the air, it's maddening. I need to find something to fix that for the future because I can't handle these constant shootouts haha.
