There were some deserving finalists, but Henderson gets the award this year running away after the Eagles won their first ever conference title and set a school record with their 12 wins. The key behind the Eagles’ turnaround was primarily the Henderson-led offense, led by Michigan transfer JayShawn Bryant, a pair of 1,000 yard tailbacks and All-MAC wideout Derrick Daniels. Head coach Chris Creighton and his staff are popular candidates to get head coaching jobs, but it would not surprise me if Henderson, a Michigan native, simply got promoted to the head coaching job at EMU instead.

I truly think Ole Miss was one of the best teams, if not the best, team in the dynasty so far, regardless of conference affiliation or result.
I love dynasty mode because of these new teams becoming cream of the crop. UCLA has gone from good to bad to good again, and new teams like Nebraska and Oregon got really good as well. On the other hand, Ohio State, Florida State, Clemson, LSU, Auburn/Alabama and many others are simply average again. It's a really fascinating trend to notice in our simulation to the future here.
