I feel like 3pt was little bit overpowered last year. Some people we're constantly spamming their shots and we're able to shoot contested with absolutely ridiculous percentage. I've heard rumours that it's even worse this year and harder to defend is it true or false? Hat off for anyone who is able to give me answer because if it's true, i'm not going to buy the game.

It depends i like when you work hard for 15 s on offense and you manage to get wide open shot.
But what i dont like is when they spam pick and roll and even if you there with your body it says open and it still hit around 60-70% for playmaking builds who can speedboost that makes them goats again....

Makers of the game refuse to do anything about it, and instead choose to actively reward this crap more and more each year.

The craziest thing about this is that if you watch his player build his pure stretch 4 doesn't even get hof limitless or catch and shoot and his 3 is only a 91. I made a tiny 5'9 pure sharp so I could get 99 3 and have hof limitless and I miss wide open shots all the time. I don't get this game at all. 2k lab verified that the green release window actually decreases at higher 3 point shooting ratings. So am I actually being punished for having a higher rating? while already being useless every where else. This dude dropping 150 with a 91 3.
I played a shot creator in the park that hit 6 straight contested 3s, all greens on me. And I miss a couple of open ones with a 99 3. What is happening here? My skill is high also. Last year I averaged 32 per game in pro-am with my sharp. I tried to exploit the ratings and instead 2k exploited me for money lmao. My build is useless.Comment

I'm shooting 48% with a pure lockdown that's 6'10 and has a max wingspan, my unboosted rating is 56, I take about 3-4 attempts a game and I was greening threes even before I had corner specialist.
The shooting is far worse than last year, you can see the trickle down effect in PlayNow Online too where guys who have 40-50 ratings are making 2-3 a game if left open. The developer logic seems to be that no matter who it is, if the shot is open it should go in, so it removes all strategy from the game and people will play 4 out 1 in and confidently take threes with guys who shouldn't be able to shoot them.Comment

151 pts is of course ridiculous. But he cherrypicked a game against bums, the whole team is working for him, and he is a smart guy, who realizes very quickly when its a good shot, and when it is not (be it basketball wise, or game wise).
Getting 40 rebound games is no less ridiculous, but it happens, when playing against lesser competition.
And last year shooting was broken. You had better chance to hit contested than open. It is much different this year
