how about lowering open shot percentages. you can patch auto contest but guys will still shot 70-80% on open looks.

All the half court shots in park could be toned down too

you guys advocate for this stuff but when wang follows through...just look at the links i provided.

LDD, glass, plays will be useless offensively. you guys will be here complaining about full white bars and that 2k is a video game first.

as long as there are green releases nothing can be done. LDD right now with good timing and the right shooting animation can flat line their 3pt rating to 100.

Literally one person in that thread wanted shooting to be un-nerfed. Obviously, I can't speak for everyone here, but I want realism first and foremost. If the best shooters in the NBA can't make wide open threes more than 50% of the time, then Joe Random in the park shouldn't be able to either.

Maybe they should have different modes for those that want to play basketball and those that want an arcade nba jam type game. IDK if meeting in the middle is the right solution

I don't understand the NBA Jam comparisons, I've played it and it has no green releases and much more realistic 3PT%, when they released the On Fire Edition they turned the shooting up a little bit because it was too low.

Good lord. The saddest part of this video is dude actually thinks he's good taking garbage contested shots that happen to go in. This is what 2K creates.
"I scored 150 pts in a game!" Yeah buddy, you did. But if this game had any realism, your iq would make you score 5.



Edit: Lemme just add one of his quotes --> "Deep, double teamed Three...GREEN". If that doesn't embody 2K's descent into casual/arcade, Idk what does. You got casuals out here thinking they're gods because they "mastered" a jump shot, yet their shot IQ is trash.

Fix yo game 2K!

- Nerf Limitless Range badge
- It should be the FURTHER away THE better the shot %. The CLOSER the WORSE. Nerf Deep Deadeye Badge. Yet I've missed plenty of WIDE open, while greening shots with a defender closer. Why? Stupid badges that REWARD BAD SHOTS.
- Make shot contesting easier (hey let's make it harder for 2k19 so SS have more advantages! genius!)
- Mask Pure SS's slower. They need to be more like Matt Bonners and less like Reggie Miller

I think a lot of you just suck and should truly stop expecting sim numbers online. Christ this game gave us plenty of tools to play defense, if you're struggling it's on you.
