PA Announcer sounds odd
Does the new PA announcer sound muffled , low or like underwater, I can't hardly understand him speaking. I have it set on the highest setting even lowering the commentary sound and still can't hear what he is saying most of the time. The other announcer in the previous versions was very clear. Is this a bug of some sort ??? Or is it just just me ???When you come to a fork in the road, take it..... Yogi Berra

Re: PA Announcer sounds odd
I was thinking the same thing. And I’ve seen others commenting on how much they like him and I’m sitting here thinking that I can barely hear him, if I hear him at all during games.
Wasn’t sure if there was a setting I was missing or maybe my TV settings needed adjusting. Glad I’m not alone though. Hopefully we can get an answer. -

I'm noticing this somewhat too. It will be fine sometime, and then sometimes it sounds completely mumbled. Especially with the music and crowd effects.Comment

Re: PA Announcer sounds odd
Like I said in another thread, I'm not having any sound issues at all, but I'm using good quality headphones. He has an echo but that is a sound option if I'm not mistaken. I was using TV speakers and the sound was lackluster...after switching to headphones the sound quality is tremendously better, but I guess that is to be expected.Comment

Re: PA Announcer sounds odd
Sometimes he sounds like a robot to me. I think it has to do with what noise is going on in the background. There might be an issue with them overlapping.

I think what you're hearing is the stadium echo.Comment

Re: PA Announcer sounds odd
I'm having the same issue, I shutdown the commentary, it gets old. The PA sound is cranked and can barely hear it (Like you could in 18'). Very quiet game now....
If they could fix this issue and work on eliminating the Fireworks that would be perfect.Comment

Re: PA Announcer sounds odd
Perhaps it's meant to be this way. The PA announcer on TV broadcasts sounds muffled. You can't half hear them if at all. You certainly don't hear them the way you hear the PA announcer in MLB 18 and those before it. Just a thought.Comment
