On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate MLBTS 19 after the latest patch?
What is the biggest bug/glitch that still needs addressed? I never buy the game on release date. I always wait on the release of numerous patches that address these and a quality OSFM 40 man roster. How would you rate this game now compared to out of the gate on the release date?Tags: None -

The biggest bug/glitch remaining is probably the pitchers being used as DH bug. It is expected to be fixed when patch 1.11 drops. That date is not known.
As far as rating? I would say the game is a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10, which is the same as I would have given it out of the gate. The latest patch "forced" me to make a minor slider adjustment to solid hits (dropped one spot from default to 4). Doing that has made the game play just as good, if not slightly, better than when it was first released.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I would have given it a 9 at release but only a 7 after latest patch. Mainly because I had a perfect slider set prior to 1.09 and am currently in the process of adjusting after the last two patches.
SDS really just needs to figure out what they want this game to be and stick with it. Two patches within one week that both change the hitting drastically is a little excessive. They are not going to be able to make everyone happy so either make this a game that allows DD to perform at optimal levels, or just make a baseball simulation and let the DD crowd either get on board or ship out (though this is not likely to happen).Comment

I would have to knock it down a couple notches and not specifically for gameplay, which I think is great. My issue is the lack of detail in roster updates, specifically the rookies that get added with no options. As a pure franchise guy, it's a huge immersion killer because if the CPU sends them down, they have to go through waivers. My workaround is using CAPS but the downside is losing out on having their ID for when it's carryover time next year. That lack of quality is very concerning to me.Comment

I’d seriously wished that they left the helmets alone, because before the patch we could edit players helmets in the minors. Also wished Acuna, Eloy Jimenez, Kikuchi, Urias of the Padres, and Pete Alonso of the Mets get real accurate face scans, like Vladimir Guerrero Jr did on the last patch. Also why are so many players missing real portraits such as Todd Frazier, unreal.

That's another thing that irks me, the missing portraits on cards. And I'd give anything for a real Acuna scan!!!Comment

It's much better than launch IMHO. The frame rate fixes alone improved gameplay and immersion tremendously. The more I think about it, the more I can't believe they shipped it that way... (Pro/Balanced)
Hit variety is also improved post patch IMO, I haven't seen any difference with the latest smaller patch.

I really enjoyed that element of the game. You'd think it would still be available on broadcast.
It was a nice second to take a sip of a beverage or whatever or consider the next pitch without pausing and breaking your concentration.Comment

I’ve only managed to get 3 games in since patch and I don’t know if its coincidence but everything I hit is a line drive at someone and everything the cpu hits is hard line drives into the gaps.
I thought the patch was supposed to lessen this?2016 NLL Champion Saskatchewan Rush

I would give it 8. It is really good this year. It would be a 9 or even a 10 if they would just re-enable in-game injuries in MoM games. That really just bugs me out that this has gone on for two years near and still no fix.Comment

I would still give it a 9/10 because I’m enjoying the hell out of it. However the -1 is because every patch - like y’all said 2 this week already! - changes the basic pitching and hitting elements of the game. Should not be something constantly updated.
Since the latest patch(es), I’m giving up way more hits and homers. I’ll have an 0-2 count and bury something offspeed below the zone and it will get roped. I know that happens, but not to back to back batters...against the Mets! [emoji4]

I'm at the point of thinking the hitting engine in the show just needs a serious overhaul. Since the introduction of ball physics in 17, this game has really had a hard time finding what kind of balance it wants from an offense standpoint. It's been years now and we've seen probably 4 or 5 different versions of hitting. I really wish this game could accurately reflect today's game of baseball as we truly are in a "live" era and I dont get that feeling this year.Comment

Coincidentally since 1.10 I am seeing more swings that I am on good to great timing whiffing on pitches in the zone. It just seems to be impossible to miss on pitches outside of the zone which should be the opposite. I would like to see SDS implement not being able to move the PCI more than a few balls lengths out of the zone. It's just too unrealistic right now.
I also hit an eye level fastball with joc pederson that was a good foot to foot and a half above he zone for a home run since 1.10 as well. I am just scared as hell of any future patches right now because it seems SDS doesn't know what they want the show to be right nowComment

Definitely this. I shouldn’t be missing pitches from Wade Miley right over the middle that I square up. Hall of Fame hitting is hard enough!
