After suffering through a year of what might possibly be the worst game in NBA history, 2K21, THANKFULLY 2K came out with a chip on their shoulder and improved the offline gameplay by leaps and bounds. It really can't be over-stated, 2K22 is easily the best year-over-year improvement we have ever seen. Help defense is BY FAR the best and most realistic it has ever been. PnR defense functions realistically and with variety so that you don't always get the same reaction from the CPU, and (unlike 2K21) the hedge defender has a functioning brain this year

But with all that being said, there is always room for improvement. Tests to be run. Tweaks to be made. And this year, I'm getting to work early. I'll be starting off with a few simple tweaks that will give us a great base to work off of. We only need to change a few values here and there to see some drastic improvements to the look and feel of the game.

PLEASE post any and all CONSTRUCTIVE feedback, positive or negative, so that I know what people like about my slider set and what I need to improve on. Also, please post any and all personal findings and/or tweaks you've tried out. Try to point out what you are seeing too much of (ex. The AI attacks the basket too often), what you're not seeing enough of (ex. The AI does not go to the post often enough), etc. And also, it's just fun to see the results everyone is getting and to have a discussion on what can be improved/what should be left alone.

Set between 60-66 as you see fit) Shot Feedback - User Preference Coach Settings PlayVision - All Plays PlayVision Display - Full Offense Playcalling - Auto These settings make your offense wake the hell up! Your AI teammates will no longer stand around doing nothing. Instead, they will be running plays and creating opportunities for your half-court offense. Controller Settings** Shot Timing - Real Player % Free Throw Timing - Real Player % Shot Aiming - Off Defensive Assist With Intense D - 50 Box Out Assist - 25 Pass Target Direction: 63 Pass Target Distance: 36 Pass Target Openness: 1 Shoutout to OS user talucchessi for the Pass Target Profile settings. These are being posted separate from the regular slider set because 2K will typically fix the issue in due time and I don't want to drastically alter my base sliders in response. If 2K has NOT broken the defense but you still want a bit more of a challenge, feel free to use these tweaks to make the AI that little bit more punishing.
