Has anyone ever won a challenge?
I've seen replays of guys with both feet clearly out of bounds and the call won't be overturned. I don't think I've seen a successful challenge yet. It seems like there's a problem with players feet hovering and not really making contact with the grass so it's hard to tell when someone is actually in/out or down.Tags: None -

I've only made 3 challenges (all on lost fumbles) and won all 3. -
Re: Has anyone ever won a challenge?
I win the majority of the challenges I do. I'm really not a fan of how the system works, or how rarely the booth reviews happen and wish like The Show we had an option to disable missed calls. While I like the idea of the authenticity missed calls bring, it's not executed in a manner that makes me feel is worth having in the game. Until done right, I'd rather not have it.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

I've won 3 or 4 challenges, all on catches called out of bounds and incomplete when it was obvious my guy dragged his feet.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

Re: Has anyone ever won a challenge?
I've challenged some fumbles and won a few.
The worst one I ever saw happen was the CPU made a catch, and I hit him and made him fumble. He clearly fumbled well before a knee was down. I challenged it. They showed it over and over again, with it clearly coming out. And the referees didn't overturn. Good grief.

Re: Has anyone ever won a challenge?
I just had my best ever ''challenge won'' happen. I was called short of the line of gain by a good two yards on third down, but while I knew I didn't get the first down, I also knew I should have been closer than fourth and two. So I challenged the call of the spot, won, and was rewarded with a fourth and inches. One qb sneak later, first down. Getting the spot moved to fourth and inches was more satisfying than getting the actual first down, tho that was pretty satisfying too.T-BONE.

Re: Has anyone ever won a challenge?
I think I've won every challenge of a fumble (lost) and about 80% -- 90% of catch challenges. One of the most significant difference between 14 and 25 is that 14 would always review fumbles to the point where you never needed to challenge one. I can't remember 25 ever initiating a review of a fumble. I call my defense and allow the offense to get to the LOS before challenging in hopes the game will initiate a challenge, which never comes.
Catches are nearly identical in my opinion between the last two versions. The CPU calls for quite a few reviews that seem like it should NOT be a challenge in College but should be in Madden because one foot is clearly down and the question is the 2nd foot. Unlike the fumble, the computer will challenge about half of the borderline receptions.Comment

Disclaimer: I have NOT seen this in 25. NCAA Football 14 had a sideline glitch (at least on the PS3) on nearly all of the fields. The sideline had a "pure white" border that was considered in bounds. If you toed that line while making a catch, you would be ruled in bounds because that white border was interpreted as being green. I have not seen this in this year's game, but there could be some fields where this issue is present.Comment

Re: Has anyone ever won a challenge?
I’ve successfully challenged fumbles, pretty consistently actually. The game is fairly realistic in the sense that I’m saying “oh he was 100% down”
I’ve never won a ball spot one, and no longer try. The game seems to screw this up. It’s sometimes 3-4 yards off. I ran from the 39, got to the 36 and tackled at the 36. After the tackle, he tumbled backwards. Ball was placed at the 40, 3rd and 11 now. I lost the challenge. I’ve had a few like that where it’s 3-4 yards off and lost every challenge.Comment

I do like how it lets you look at the replay before deciding if you should challenge it. I know one of the previous ones you couldn’tRetro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

I didn’t realize that, I always avoided looking at the replay for the exact reason it used to lock you out of challengingComment
