    CUSTOM BATTING & PITCHING CAMERA
    - Start with RETRO camera and adjust the height, zoom and angle from there
    - The RETRO camera default view is very close to what I settled on and I did not have to move the camera much at all when customizing the camera. If you are OK with the default RETRO camera, just stick with it at default
    - Use light towers, bleachers, parts of stadium, players heads and bats as markers
    - I have included multiple players/teams for you to use as a reference
    - Move the camera up & down, zoom in & out and change the tile/angle until you figure it out
    ** See the screenshots (below)**

I will post more pictures in post #2 of the thread showing different players and stadiums as well

POST #2 of the thread will be used for more screenshots of the customer camera with different pitcher / batter / stadium combinations for you to use as a reference when setting up the custom camera if you choose to use it. The default RETRO camera is also more than adequate

Post #3 - I will occasionally add video highlights throughout the season where anyone can easily go back to page #1 of the thread to view or reference

      * This was the very first game action that I played and I wasn't really playing as I had simulated my way through 90% of the game going through certain settings, tinkering with the custom camera settings, gathering screenshots, etc. I decided to bat with the Red Sox who were coming up trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the 9th. Alex Bregman was batting with 1 out and the bases empty when Schmidt left a sinker up and over the plate and Bregman launched a rocket into the green monster seats for a dramatic game tying HR

Playing Test Game #1 (Red Sox at Mets) and wanted to post a few video highlights:

          * The game was scoreless in the top of the 4th inning when Ceddanne Rafaela got a fastball low and in from Kodai Senga and turned on it launching a 3-run HR to LF to give the Sox a 3-0 lead

          * The Red Sox were leading 5-1 in the top of the 7th when Masataka Yoshida absolutely crushed a 417 foot bomb to RF off Tylor Megill

TNK – MLB 25 BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE

            SLIDER TESTING - Game #1
Boston Red Sox @ New York Mets
Pitching Matchup – Garrett Crochet vs Kodai Senga

            RECAP
The game was scoreless through 3 innings with Garrett Crochet and Kodai Senga both pitching well early until the Red Sox opened the scoring in the top of the 4th as they had runners on the corners with 1 out when Ceddanne Rafaela turned on an inside fastball from Senga and launched a 3-run HR to LF giving Boston a 3-0 lead. Crochet was dominating on the mound and struck out the side in the bottom of the 4th bringing his total to 6 Ks as we would head to the 5th inning with Boston leading 3-0. The Red Sox were making Senga work and he he reached 100 pitches with 1 out in the top of the 5th when Triston Casas hit a towering fly ball to RF sending Soto back to the wall where he leaped but could not bring it back as Casas makes it 4-0 with a solo HR and Tylor Megill would come in from the pen to take over on the mound. Megill would get out of the inning and send the game to the bottom of the 5th where Mark Vientos led off with a single and Starling Marte followed with a RBI double to right-center getting the Mets on the board and cutting the deficit to 4-1. Crochet recorded his 7th K as he bounced back to retire the next 3 batters and send the game to the 6th inning with Boston leading 4-1. The Red Sox went right back to work in the top of the 6th as Connor Wong led off with a double and Rafaela just missed his 2nd HR of the night as he followed with a RBI double off the wall in left-center making it 5-1. Megill would get through the rest of the inning unscathed and Crochet would strikeout Soto looking for his 8th K before singles by Pete Alonso and Brandon Nimmo put two on for Mark Vientos with 2 outs. Vientos hit the ball hard to the right side on the ground but it would be knocked down by Casas who flipped to Crochet covering the bag for the final out and we would head to the 7th inning with the Red Sox up 5-1. Masataka Yoshida made it 6-1 in the top of the 7th when Megill left a fastball up and over the plate that Yoshida crushed 417 feet for a solo HR. Crochet recorded his 9th K in the top of the 7th before walking Francisco Alvarez to put a man on with 2 outs. Luisangel Acuna would ground out to Devers at third base for the 3rd out and the Red Sox would head to the 8th inning with a 6-1 lead. Danny Young took over on the mound for New York and struck out the side in the top of the 8th and Garrett Whitlock took over on the mound for Boston and struck out Brandon Nimmo looking to end the bottom of the 8th and send the game to the 9th with Boston leading 6-1. Young pitched a scoreless top of the 9th and the Mets we would go to the bottom of the 9th with the Mets coming up to bat trailing 6-1 with Aroldis Chapman coming on to pitch for Boston. Mark Vientos led off the bottom of the 9th with a drive that was slicing down the RF line and fell in for a lead off double. Chapman came right back to strikeout Marte looking on a back door slider for the 1st out. Jose Siri flew out to Jarren Duran in LF and the Mets were down to their final out with Francisco Alvarez coming to the plate. Alvarez hit the ball hard on the ground but it was hit right to Trevor Story who made the play and threw to Casas at first base for the final out as the Red Sox beat the Mets 6-1

            GAME NOTES
            * The sliders overall played pretty well for the very first game. I started with the sliders I finished with in MLB 24, added any new settings and went from there. Very happy with where we are starting from this year and it shouldn't take long at all to have these sliders ready to begin franchise play

            * Ceddanne Rafaela had a big night at the plate for Boston as he went 2 for 4 with a double, HR & 4 RBI

            * The Red Sox hit 3 HR in the game with Ceddanne Rafaela, Triston Casas and Masataka Yoshida all going deep for Boston

            * Garrett Crochet made the start on the mound for Boston and pitched 7 strong innings allowing 1 run on 6 hits with 1 walk & 9 Ks while earning the win

            * Kodai Senga took the mound for New York and pitched 4.1 innings allowing 4 runs on 4 hits with 3 walks & 4 Ks while taking the loss

            * Game #2 of slider testing will feature the Red Sox at Blue Jays with Walker Buehler getting the start for Boston while Jose Berrios will be on the mound for Toronto

              Re: TNK MLB 25 SLIDERS

TNK, I'm back with you for another season. I downloaded your sliders the first day and made my adjustments to how I play (I try to make it look and play like the MVP series, so I use meter pitching and directional hitting).

Thanks for doing this again and you already know I'll be following!
I am the lesson after the fall.

                Re: TNK MLB 25 SLIDERS

Playing Test Game #2 right now (Red Sox at Blue Jays) and wanted to post a highlight or two while the game is still in progress:

                * The Blue Jays were leading 1-0 in the bottom of the 4th when Vlad Guerrero took Walker Buehler deep for a 2-run HR making it 3-0

                <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/XXyswjIaT54?si=HhC7S-nySp-soAg9" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe>

                * The Red Sox offense came alive in the top of the 4th with the big blow coming as the Red Sox had already cut the deficit to 3-1 when Ceddanne Rafaela stepped to the plate with two men on base. Rafaela got himself into a hitters count when Jose Berrios left a changeup over the plate and Rafaela would crush a 432 foot blast to LF for a 3-run HR giving Boston a 4-3 lead

I will be posting a full reacp, box score, highlights. etc. following the conclusion of the game

                * Here are the 6 Ks by Walker Buehler who pitched 6 solid innings

I made one change / adjustment to the sliders

                  Fastball Pitch Speed - 7
                  Offspeed Pitch Speed - 7

I updated post #1 of the thread to reflect this change

TNK – MLB 25 BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE

                    Slider Testing - Game #2
Boston Red Sox @ Toronto Blue Jays
Pitching Matchup – Walker Buehler vs Jose Berrios

                    RECAP
The Red Sox went down quietly against Jose Berrios in the top of the 1st Blue Jays went to work with 2 outs after Walker Buehler retired the first two batters as Anthony Santander doubled and George Springer followed with a soft liner into shallow RF for a RBI single giving Toronto a 1-0 lead. Boston was threatening in the top of the 3rd as they had two men in scoring position with 2 outs but Berrios would get Triston Casas to fly out to Joey Loperfido in CF ending the threat and keeping it a 1-0 game. Toronto added to their lead in the bottom of the 3rd when Vladimir Guerrero launched a 2-run HR into the LF stands making it a 3-0 game. Boston got on the board in the top of the 4th after back to back singles by Wilyer Abreu and Connor Wong put two men on and David Hamilton followed with a liner to CF for a RBI single making it 3-1. Ceddanne Rafaela was up next and worked a hitters count before Berrios hung a changeup that stayed up over the plate and Rafaela absolutely crushed it 432 feet into the second deck in left-center for a big 3-run HR giving Boston a 4-3 lead. Buehler retired the Blue Jays in the bottom half and we would go to the 5th inning with the Red Sox up 4-3. Berrios and Buehler each pitched scoreless frames in the 5th with Buehler striking out Guerrero on a nasty breaking ball to end the bottom of the 5th and send the game to the 5th inning with Boston leading 4-3. Berrios was done for the night as Nick Sandlin took over on the mound to start the top of the 6th and Sandlin would K the side as Wong, Hamilton and Rafaela all went down on strikes. Buehler retired Santander and Springer to begin the bottom of the 6th before Daulton Varsho doubled to put the tying run in scoring position with 2 outs. Buehler remained in the game to face Alejandro Kirk following a mound visit with Zack Kelly and Brennan Bernardino warming in the Red Sox bullpen. Buehler would finish his outing with a huge K as he froze Kirk with a 98 mph fastball at the letters and Buehler was fired up pumping his fist as he made his way back to the dugout and we would head to the 7th inning with Boston leading 4-3. Jarren Duran doubled off Brendon Little to begin the top of the 7th and Triston Casas would draw a walk with 2 outs to put two men on for Trevor Story but he would fly out to Loperfido in CF on the first pitch as Little escapes the jam and the score remains 4-3. Brennan Bernardino came on to pitch the bottom of the 7th for Boston and Andres Gimenez got on base with an infield single after Story made a nice diving stop in the hole but the speedy Gimenez would reach and Story would exit the game with an injury. Romy Gonzalez would enter the game as a defensive substitution at third base with Alex Bregman moving to second base and David Hamilton sliding over to take over for Story at shortstop. Ernie Clement grounded into a fielders choice just beating out the double play bringing up Joey Loperfido with 1 out. Bernardino would strikeout Loperfido on a slider away but Bo Bichette would punch a ground ball through the left side for a single to bring Vlad Guerrero to the plate with two men on and 2 outs. Alex Cora would come out of the dugout and call for Justin Slaten to come on from the pen to face Guerrero in a huge at bat. Guerrero and Slaten had a good battle going before Guerrero hit the ball hard through the right side into RF for a single but Abreu came up and threw a laser to home plate as Loperfido held at third base to bring up Anthony Santander with the bases loaded and 2 outs. Santander fouled off 3 cutters away before Slaten came back inside locking up Santander with a 98 mph fastball on the corner for a huge strikeout to end the inning stranding the bases loaded and sending the game to the 8th inning with the Red Sox clinging to a 4-3 lead. Wilyer Abreu drew a 8 pitch walk to lead off the top of the 8th and Connor Wong followed with another long at bat as he battled Little to a full count before driving a ball in the gap the opposite way to right-center for a RBI double scoring Abreu all the way from first base with a big insurance run for Boston making it 5-3. Erik Swanson replaced Little on the mound for Toronto and struck out Hamilton before Rafaela stroked a RBI double in the gap to push the lead to 6-3. Rafael Devers added a RBI single with 2 outs before Swanson struck out Bregman looking to end the frame but the Red Sox score 3 big runs to extend their lead to 7-3 heading to the bottom of the 8th. Rafaela made a nice catch tracking a deep drive to CF by Daulton Varsho in the bottom of the 8th as Slaten pitches a 1-2-3 frame to send the game to the 9th inning with Boston leading 7-3. The Red Sox had a man on but Swanson would get Wong to fly out to Springer in RF ending the top of the 9th and the Blue Jays would come up to bat in the bottom of the 9th trailing 7-3. Liam Hendriks would come on to pitch the bottom of the 9th for Boston and recorded two quick outs retiring Gimenez on a routine fly to Rafaela in CF and Clement on a deep fly ball to Duran in LF bringing up Joey Loperfido with the Blue Jays down to their final out. Hendriks would get Loperfido to hit a ground ball to Casas at first base who fielded it cleanly and stepped on the bag for the final out as the Red Sox win 7-3

                    GAME NOTES
                    * The sliders continue to feel and playwell and things are sort of right where you want them to be. I'm seeing base hits, power, home runs, strikeouts, walks and the variety is all there. I don't see or feel anything that stands out or is something you notice for all the wrong reasons

                    * The one adjustment to the sliders is simply to increase pitch speed. I am updating post #1 of the thread to reflect this one change
                    *** Fastball Pitch Speed - 7
                    *** Offspeed Pitch Speed - 7

                    * Ceddanne Rafaela had another big game for me as he went 2 for 4 with a HR & 4 RBI and his HR was a 432 foot bomb off Jose Berrios

                    * Vlaadimir Guerrero Jr went 2 for 4 with a HR & 2 RBI to lead the way offensively for the Blue Jays

                    * Walker Buehler made the start on the mound for Boston and pitched 6 strong innings allowing 3 runs on 7 hits with 6 Ks to pickup the win

                    * Jose Berrios took the mound for Toronto and pitched 5 innings allowing 4 runs on 8 hits with 1 walk & 3 Ks as he took the loss

                    * Game #3 of slider testing will feature the Red Sox taking on the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium

                      Re: TNK MLB 25 SLIDERS

I got the game yesterday and plugged in your sliders. The only changes I made is that I use pinpoint pitching, and I lower pitch speeds to 5. (I can barely hit fastballs at that speed).

I have played a couple of games and really good so far. I don't think I will have to adjust much if at all.

I didn't get last years game, and have been playing 23 for the last two years. The wind seems very strong this year. The balls really seem to carry away from the outfielders.

Overall, I am having a ton of fun so far.

                      Rick

What's up Rick...glad you are enjoying the sliders

My plan is to start my franchise on Opening Day and will get a few more games in before then, but the sliders are playing great and I don't anticipate many more changes if any at all

TNK – MLB 25 BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE

                          Slider Testing - Game #3
Boston Red Sox @ San Diego Padres
Pitching Matchup – Brayan Bello vs Dylan Cease

                          RECAP
The recaps will be shorter going forward in an effort to save time
The Red Sox scored a pair of runs in the 1st inning off Dylan Cease on a RBI single by Rafael Devers and a bases loaded walk to Wilyer Abreu to take a 2-0 lead. The score remained 2-0 until Abreu launched a solo HR to CF in the top of the 3rd making it 3-0. Brayan Bello was pitching well for Boston and pitched a 1-2-3 bottom of the 5th as we would head to the 6th inning with the Red Sox leading 3-0. Ron Marinaccio struck out the side in the top of the 6th for San Diego and the Padres would get back to back singles from Elias Diaz and Luis Arraez to begin the bottom of the 6th and Jackson Merrill would single with 1 out to load the bases for Manny Machado who fouled off some tough two strike pitches before Bello froze him with a slider that broke over the plate for a big strikeout for the 2nd out. Jake Cronenworth stepped in with the bases loaded and 2 outs and Bellow would punch him out on a changeup away for a huge K as Bello records back to back Ks to strand the bases loaded and the game would move to the 7th inning with Boston leading 3-0. Yuki Matsui pitched a 1-2-3 top of the 7th and Bello finished off an excellent outing by retiring the side in order in the bottom of the 7th sending the game to the 8th inning with Boston leading 3-0. The Red Sox were threatening after Triston Casas doubled to runners on 2nd & 3rd with nobody out in the top of the 8th and Masataka Yoshida would deliver a RBI single with 1 out to score Bregman and Casas making it 5-0. Adrian Morejon replaced Matsui on the mound for the Padres and Boston would load the bases for Ceddanne Rafaela with 1 out. Morejon made a great pitch to freeze Rafaela for a big K for the 2nd out and then struck out Jarren Duran to escape the jam and leave the bases loaded as we move to the bottom of the 8th with Boston leading 5-0. Garrett Whitlock came in to pitch for Boston and retired the Padres 1-2-3 in the bottom of the 8th to send the game to the 9th inning with the Red Sox in command with a 5-0 lead. The Red Sox went down quietly in the top of the 9th and Aroldis Chapman would come on to pitch the bottom of the 9th for Boston with closer Liam Hendriks warming in the pen should the Padres make things interesting. Merrill popped out to Wong behind the plate in foul ground for the 1st out while Machado fouled off some tough pitches before striking out on a 98 mph fastball on the 9th pitch of his at bat and the Padres were down to their final out. Cronenworth kept the game alive with a ground ball through the right side for a single bringing up Xander Bogaerts and Chapman would blow a 99 mph fastball past him for the final out and the Red Sox beat the Padres 5-0

                          GAME NOTES
                          * The sliders continue to produce good baseball games with variety, things look and feel right where they should be and nothing stands out as something that is glaring and needs fixing

                          * Wilyer Abreu led the way offensively for Boston going 2 for 3 with a HR, 2 RBI and 1 walk

                          * Masataka Yoshida went 1 for 4 with 2 RBI while Alex Bregman, Rafael Devers and Triston Casas each had 2 hits on the night for Boston

                          * Brayan Bello made the start on the mound for Boston and was outstanding as he pitched 7 shutout innings allowing no runs on 5 hits with 1 walk & 6 Ks to pickup the win

                          * Dylan Cease took the mound for San Diego and lasted just 4 innings allowing 3 runs on 5 hits with 3 walks & 6 Ks in the losing effort

                          * Garrett Whitlock and Aroldis Chapman slammed the door in the late innings out of the pen for Boston

                          * The next testing game will be the Red Sox (ME) at New York Yankees (CPU)

NOTE - For the next game, I am going to test the following changes:

CPU Contact - 5 (I will increase this to 6)
CPU Power - 4 (I will increase this to 5)

                              K-Reel

From the last test game (Boston at San Diego)
Dylan Cease and Brayan Bello each collected 6 Ks in the game
