Anybody?
It seems to have a large affect on the overall rating, so it must be something significant? Maybe it has something to do with how well they can be involved in plays? Sooo curious -
Re: New attribute: Intangibles. What does it do?
Intangible ratings are the things you can't physical grade such as your passion for the game, your heart and soul, your work ethic, your mental toughness, your sense for spacing and finding teammates.
I'm not sure how 2k incorporates this into our Overall or how we can influence it. I'm still in college as a type this so I'm unable to see this rating.

Re: New attribute: Intangibles. What does it do?
There's no more Offensive and Defensive Consistency, so it may have just replaced that. Although Klay Thompson has a 96 and Kevin Durant has a 75, so...Last edited by RyanFitzmagic; 09-16-2016, 04:05 PM.Comment

Still not sure what affect Intangibles has on the gameplay...Comment

Maybe it has more to do with MyGm, things like team chemistry and ability to stay upbeat after losses, that sort of thing.Comment

Re: New attribute: Intangibles. What does it do?
Until we get confirmation, we just have to use context clues. Like I said, Klay has a 96 and Durant has a 75. Guys like Jordan and LeBron have 98/99. DeAndre Jordan has the highest on the Clippers (95, compared to Chris Paul's 80), and Steven Adams is at 96 with Westbrook at 85.
Honestly, I got nothing, but all we can do is gather the information we have. Maybe collectively we can figure something out.Comment

Soooo curious
I have a feeling it might have something to do with how players fit into running plays etcComment

Re: New attribute: Intangibles. What does it do?
It doesn't. It actually has no affect whatsoever in MyGM/MyLeague simulation, according to this post by a 2k dev. It's purely a gameplay only rating.

They should patch it to have zero effect on overall rating if this is the case, just like badges which only affect gameplay.Comment

Hustle maybe?
I use to think guys like Jason Kidd would have a 99 rating in this category. Because he effected so many different parts of the game. He made his teammates 100 times better.

I think it's just a ratings booster for guys that may need the boost for rotational purposes. And a little... Just a little of its actual meaning.
EDIT: I digress... I think it's a hybrid of their importance to the team when on the court creating chemistry & proper spacing through movement, screens, cuts and back picks. (Knowing where to be on the court)

Which would affect their overall to help affect their contract offers in MyLeague

Re: New attribute: Intangibles. What does it do?
Using some of the ratings as a guideline, I still have no idea... I would think a guy like Iggy would have really high intangibles, but his rating is only like 50-60. Klay on the other hand is 90s... I simmed a MyGM season and got a lot of complaints from Iggy on not starting, so I wonder if it has to do with being high or low maintenance throughout a season, and that affected morale and in turn overall rating... Just brainstorming, but I would love to know what this actually does.Comment
