I know very little about lacrosse , but took a chance and bought this game. Let's just say I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I'd go into detail why, but I don't possess the vernacular or jargon to describe it properly.

Same here. Doesn't seem like too complex a sport to learn, but it will take a little while to get the game controls down. Just played one game so far, and it was a lot of fun. Even scored a 2-point goal (probably by accident) in my first game which I lost 5-4.

Whats the career mode like? I appreciate the teams are unlicensed, but how many are there? Divisions? Competitions etc

Career mode is a typical My Player mode afaik. Choose the position, customize player and start. You can't play as a Goalie though.
You can create custom competitions and tournaments. There are the College Teams and the Big 9 or 10 (whatever is called), not licensed but you're given the option to download the real ones made my other users right away or create new teams as the customization is quite rich. There's no recruiting in College teams though. Maybe they'll add it in their next game in a couple of years (I don't think they plan to make a new game every year).

Does anyone else see the line/hiccup on the PS4 version when playing up and down? It is driving me nuts.
