It went out of its way to mention that he was pulled off the team bus at LA International airport and canned right there on the spot right when they got back hehe.

Edit: Oh and that the decision was made during the third quarter of their loss to ASU.

As a Vols fan, I'm supposed to despise Kiffin but I actually think the guy has some coaching ability. He took Crompton - an absolute train wreck of a QB - and coached him up to where he got drafted. And he instilled discipline in a completely undisciplined program. And our last two wins of any significance whatsoever came against Georgia and South Carolina in 2009 - the Kiffin year.

I still think he would have won big at UT, and I'm kind of surprised that he didn't at USC. That said, I'm not shedding any tears for him. He ran his mouth then bolted in the night. That led to the Dooley years, which further thew us into the abyss we're in.

already been shot down.

Coaches don't ride the team buses back to the campus. All the coaches cars were already in the parking lot. The firing happening at LAX...true, but not kicked off the bus. Never listen to Scott Wolf, he rarely ever says anything that is factual.
