If you don't have a ton of coins (say 10k or less), try the 59th minute method. Set your search options to Gold players only with a starting MIN price of 150cc and a MAX price of 200cc. Go through and try to bid on rare gold players, bid on as many as you can but always bid 600 coins (only on rare gold players, for normal gold players bid 300cc). The reason is that every rare gold player is worth at least 600 coins when you discard it, so even if you can't profit by selling it, you can profit from the discard (aka Quick Sell).


Also try to buy cards in popular formations (352, or any formation with 4 at the back). You can only get away with buying crappy formations when you are buying really expensive players.

Bundasliga- Get Reus and convert him to striker, one of the most OP players in the game. Also Marko Arnautovic is quite possibly the best striker in the Bundasliga and you can pick him up for less than 800 coins. He's not rated overall as highly as your players but his in game stats are wonderful.


Serie A- You could sell Pato and Cavani and be close to affording Di Natale. If you aren't using IF Miccoli I suggest it, he's the second best player I've used after Ronaldo.

BBVA - SELL MARCELO!!!!! I can't express how awful he is. His work rates are crap so he's always out of position. Sells for 50k when Alba (25k tops?) is infinitely better, or stick with Coentrao who is very solid as well.

I get a ton of use out of this tidy little MLS silver squad too, playing in a lot of tourny's (I also have an all American version). I really want to add CB Wynne & Olave, but they are both absurdly priced the last time I checked.
