I saw someone suggest patching the referee strictness. Is this even an option(?), because I think it's a brilliant idea.

I also saw someone post that PC guys can view the ref strictness in the coding somehow? Is this accurate? Would really like to see that list if so...

Hello everyone, I'm a long user of your sliders and i decided to finally create an account to firstly say THANK YOU for all your work during the past years.

I play on full manual and 6 minutes half and this year I'm having a serious problem :

I play on legend in career mode (Portsmouth using the formation center only) and I win 90% of my matches..
I'm a lover of possession playing and I manage minimum 60% per match and the cpu barely gets 2 or 3 shots against me per game.

So how can I get the Cpu to be more dangerous to me ? I'm playing in a really calm way, I keep the ball, I don't rush at all and I score 1 or 2 goals per match in general, but so far in 12 career matches the Cpu only scored 2 goals against me.

Edit : I'm using set 2, i changed only shot error (51) and Goalkeepers (40)

Edit 2 : Lol I write this message then lose a match 2-1, that's stil only 4 goals against me in 13 matches

It used to display the ref's foul/card strictness in the exhibition match options where we could choose the referee. Is this still an option? Didn't think to check...

Also, England has some of the most lenient refs, along with Germany. Spain and Italy have stricter ones. I'd always back out of the prematch screen until I got the one or two strict English refs when messing around with Arsenal CMs. I think Kevin Friend is one, and the other escapes me, which is funny because he's one I can't stand IRL.

EDIT: Here's the list from FIFA14. No idea how much has changed. Phil Dowd was the other one I was thinking of haha.

Yes. When you are at on the game screen before you press play now back out to kit selection and back in again and the ref will have changed.


Do this before you change your last minute team selection or it will revert back to what you had before selecting game

Thanks for all the work everyone. Going to figure the last few parts out myself. I was ridiculed for suggesting higher run freq and keeping marking at 78, but now Matt likes the idea by virtue of others. Therefore my ideas are bearing no impact on this project so will persevere. Hope everyone has fun in CM!
