They really need ECHL, considering some of those teams are official farm teams of the NHL as well.

I use to really enjoy using the 1AA teams in the NCAA game years ago. So if more teams are being added for '11', it maybe something I'll be interested in.

I can't say this is very high on my priority list. But no complaints either.

awesome! I would love to see some of these ideas implemented. It would REALLY help BAP and GM mode hold my interest longer. Although, I am currently still playing both modes as they are and it is the end of April. If EA makes the game too good, we might not buy NHL 2012!! lol!

Also, not sure if the story preview pic was posed, but pretty sly whoever chose it if that's what they were trying to do. Blackhawks C John Madden...who's number just happens to be 11...
Like i said if it's done right it could be amazing if you could manage clubs at all levels and also move up through the juniors as a player.. but I doubt they could do all this in one dev cycle...

Unless you are from Europe. And junior hockey is pretty darn big in Canada. I get to at least one Erie Otters (OHL) game a year, often their traditional Thanksgiving night game since the in-laws live up there. If it's integrated into BAP and GM mode (preferably along with the Euro leagues to some extent), it could really cool.

But I agree with plaidchuck that it's a big undertaking and if they shoot for the moon in 11, there could be some bumps along the way...

EDIT: Almost forgot, IF this is even true!

So all this really means to me is we'll have more uniforms to choose from.

Surprised no one mentioned that if they add juniors we can actually have a realistic draft. Even if they are generic names/numbers you can edit them (hopefully). Also you can keep guys you draft down in juniors instead of in the AHL. I'm probably in the minority but I get a lot of enjoyment out of playing with the European teams. I even play online with them against NHL teams. For me it just keeps the game fresh with all the variety of teams, much like FIFA.
