Feel pretty good. It was either Murray or McCoy, because I felt I HAD to get a RB right away. Jones and Green were the Best WR1s at 18, went Jones. I'm not extremely high on Hyde, but he was the best available. Very happy Hopkins fell so far. Everyone ignored Fred Jackson, hopefully that ends up a steal. Took a flyer on White, not much left at this point, might as well roll the dice and hope he plays week 8 and beyond.
I think you over paid for Murray. The dudes not behind the leagues best Oline anymore and is going to struggle because of it.

Edit: Well between McCoy and Murray I probably went with McCoy especially in a PPR league.

Re: 2015 Rate My Team Thread

Maybe so, It's not a ppr league though. I was kinda scrambling for a running back because the first round went like this...

1. Peterson
2. Charles
3. Lacy
4. Bell
5. Lynch
6. Forte
7. A. Brown
8. CJ Anderson
9. Dez Bryant
10. Jeremy Hill
11. Murray (Me)
12. McCoy
13. Gronk
14. Calvin

I felt if I had waited til 18, they both would have been gone, and then I REALLY would have been reaching for someone. By 39, I was left with some pretty slim pickings at RB. I don't really like either McCoy or Murray this year, but I like Philly's offense more than Buffalo's. So we'll see.

This one looks pretty beasty to me. Nice RB depth, and a lottery ticket that could win your league for you.

I played in a league similar to your second one once, and the scoring was confusing as hell so I'm not going to even judge that one. It's pretty much gonna be a crapshoot.

Re: 2015 Rate My Team Thread

Alright, here goes...

12-teams, 0.5 PPR, 0.05 pts/return yard, 5 pts/passing TD, everything else fairly standard. We get 1 keeper and lose a draft pick based on their projected value in the Yahoo league. I had pick 10 and we do snake.

QB: Cam Newton (8th rd)
RB: Matt Forte (1st), Latavius Murray (3rd - keeper)
WR: Julio Jones (2nd), Amari Cooper (6th)
TE: Greg Olsen (4th)
W/R/T: C.J. Spiller (5th)
K: Cody Parkey (14th)
DST: Carolina (15th)

Bench:
Isaiah Crowell (9th)
Duke Johnson, Jr. (11th)
Nelson Agholor (7th)
Markus Wheaton (10th)
Roddy White (12th)
Kyle Rudolph (13th)

I feel like I'm boom or bust with this one. If Cooper and Agholor play as well as people think they can, I'll be in great shape. I don't know though. The first couple rounds were going great for me. Someone told me I should've taken Dez in the 1st but with he and Jones both available at that pick, I felt good about one of them being available at my 2nd pick and didn't feel that way about Forte.

The only small regret that I have is not taking Aaron Rodgers in the 1st. I almost did it but thought I might be able to get a decent QB in the 4th...not so much.

My only complaint is carrying only one QB. I may consider that if my QB were Rodgers or Luck, but Cam? No chance in hell. Even a healthy Cam may not be worth starting on a weekly basis considering his inconsistent oline, the health of his #1 back and, of course, his WR corp.

Jump on a decent back up now before it's too late. I'd cut either Randolph or White to make it happen. I'd probably lean more toward cutting White bc you have solid WRs and there will be more that can be had as the season goes on. But Randolph is fine too since carrying more than one TE is debatable too, but I think Randolph has a big year.

Agree on the whole 1 QB thing. By the time I took Cam, there wasn't anyone left that I wanted to carry as a backup. Being nervous about my WR corps hurt me there.

I drafted White as a safety pick because I'm nervous about the rookies and Wheaton. My plan is to see how the first few weeks pan out for Cleveland's RB situation and then drop one of them for a QB. I think Rudolph has a big year, too. Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to the bye weeks when I drafted him so I'll need a QB and TE in week 5 when Carolina is on a bye.

Re: 2015 Rate My Team Thread

10 team, non-PPR, 4 points for a QB passing TD,6 for RB/WR TD, standard blah blah blah:

QB - Brees, Tannehill
RB - D. Murray, M. Forte, L. Murray, A. Ellington, D. Cobb (who? Autopicked last pick)
WR - A. Jeffrey, K. Allen, A. Robinson, J. Landry, D. Funchess, B. Perriman
TE - J. Cameron
K - C. Barth
D/ST - Rams

I don't hate it. Had the last pick in a snake-format draft.
