Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

Started a game as Évian Thonon Gaillard in France's Ligue 2. Didn't make too many signings, as the team itself is pretty decent. One player I did bring in was Jámison Olave from Real Salt Lake for $75k. Quite a steal if you ask me.

Anyway, here's the highlights from my first match in charge:

Highlights from today's Coupe de la Ligue 1st Rnd match between Evian Thonon Gaillard and Ajaccio. The match was played out to a crowd of 1750 at Parc des Sports in Football Manager 2011 which ended with the teams finishing level after a 0 - 0 draw. The match went into extra time with Evian Thonon Gaillard running out 2 - 0 winners.

Ha! I wasted away a whole day in this today.

.............

I might have to change to 4-4-2 again.

Also Johnny Woodgate decides to drop a level rather than sign with me. Jerk.

Carlos Vela, Ritchie De Leat, and Allen Hutton also said no. Bastards.

I started a Arsenal save and finished in 2nd place in the league and defeated Barca 2-0 in the Champions League final. Rosicky also won English footballer of the year

After bringing in a bunch of young talent year 2 will begin today

Meh. Beat Spurs, lost to Man City, and drew Chelsea to stay in 4th. Even if I would have won out, the other 3 were playing a who's who of the relegation battle (outside of the matches against me).

It's going to be a very busy offseason as I have 5 players coming in at the beginning of the next window, and I already have a massive list of players. I've been accumulating replacements and it's now time to start selling off a few aging players before they decline.

In addition, the Copa America takes place in July. Groups have been drawn:
