Pretty disappointing that got next is back especially since we have to be in the pro am while 3 other games are going on. The lag is going to return. My hope is that if you have a squad, you can just jump into a game through a quick match or something instead of waiting.

Re: 2K Pro-Am in NBA 2K16?
It's 4 courts, 40 players playing simultaneously. Basically exactly how the Rec is right now. 4 courts, 40 players playing simultaneously.
It's the new Rec, with the inclusion of some crew mode additions (notice how the Rec never got mentioned in the MyPark section).
Sadly, it appears Got Next has returned. What does 2k not get that people do not want to wait 30 minutes just to get into a game?? And more often than not when you're on a Got Next spot a squad (now crew) will come over and get 5 players before you.
Then you're jumping from Rec to Rec trying to find a promising one that you don't have to wait too long to just play.
It's just frustrating and infuriating.
I already knew that strict match making was never coming back once they introduced buyable clothes and shoes with free-roaming in 2k14. Because once they saw how much money they were making from the micro transactions from the people buying their gear, they will never take it out of the game.Last edited by yungsta404; 07-23-2015, 01:44 PM.Comment

They know what people want but they dont care, they care about having a free roaming social aspect so people will have more incentive to buy their virtual clothes and shoes. They know people will play it regardless if there is matchmaking or not.

Re: 2K Pro-Am in NBA 2K16?
What's the point of having all 3 factions back if you're just gonna patch out their boosts right in the middle of the tournament like you did this year? Why play the mode at all if they haven't given us any inclination they intend to monitor performance of the servers better so that the spots actually work? Where is the assurance that the zig zag, stepback, circle jerking rebound cheese is gone?
I see no statement that leads me to believe you've IMPROVED these game modes instead of rehashed them with new names.

Re: 2K Pro-Am in NBA 2K16?
All of this sounds absolutely dope.
But all of this means absolutely nothing or very little to Sim players if
1) Cheaters / Hacks / Demigods go unpunished like they currently are

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/lRe25HZ2KnM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
2) The gameplay is cheesey as hell due to too many badges, exploits, low difficulty, and NBA JAM arcade gameplay like it currently is
3) Bad servers
How 'bout we get the functionality to match the flare?Last edited by KehliahoMauiFootball; 07-24-2015, 12:49 AM.Comment

Re: 2K Pro-Am in NBA 2K16?
I will say this again: when everyone is rated like Steph Curry and Lebron James, then yes, I expect EXACTLY what I see! And since those two actually play in real life, what can you say? If you want to cry that it's too easy to get those ratings, then that's where we can share a hanky. It's too easy to make a superstar in the game that can do everything. But that's born of the crying from 2k11 - "it takes to long to be good". Bull****. People expected "good" to be no less than Michael Jordan. But even so, the day you see dudes jumping 20 feet in the air with fire coming out if the ball and rim, then you can say the game looks like Jam! Just please stop with the dramatics.
.
The game is pure arcade right now, there's no getting around that. Just spectate any mypark or JRC game:

Re: 2K Pro-Am in NBA 2K16?
All these new modes / features are sick. Now if 2K could just nail the gameplay so that BASKETBALL wins games instead of arcade double-teamed- hand-in-your-face = Swish arcade cheese isn't the norm.Comment

I really can't understand WHY a company with historically bad servers keeps shoving this multi-court-40-people-playing-at-once crap down our throats.Comment
