So you blame a company, who has a goal of making the most possible $ as possible, for listening to what their fans are crying about. Ok.
    Concrete evidence/videos please

at those odds a person has a better chance at winning the lottery than getting a majority of his stats to be special. And if a person does, how many will be able to replicate it? Not enough to ruin the mode.

I can't tell you the last time I played a full season in nba 2k14 and 15. The highest I've gotten any of my players to is 84 and that's vc from my league my gm and park. I don't blame people who buy the vc but I blame 2k for inputting such a game killing feature

Can't really blame 2K and that isn't really game killing. It's the gimmicks people find. A 90 rating isn't really nothing after a month. When most people is there anyways. It is kinda bad from the jump for people like me that loves the grind and cannot really playing online without being at a big disadvantage.

It's very good for their business though. I hate it, but I understand it. They are making so much money from that. I actually think the setup they have is pretty cool though with you not being to upgrade until certain amount of games. Just find a way to counter people just fouling out of games. And make it a little longer to get to 90. Should only be somewhere in your 80s at the most your first season.

i think the bottom line is the current system is flawed and needs to be changed to allow more variety to myplayers. Everyone cant have maxed everything then positions are meaningless

If you want a 6ft 8 pg, then certain attributes like quickness should have a lower cap compared to a 5'10-6'3 pg

If you want a 7ft 3 center , then your vertical , speed and quickness should have a lower cap than 6'10 center but you can had the advantage in shot blocking and rebounding.

Every individual rating should be tailored to a players bodytype and playstyle chosen when creating. I can guareentee you wont see many small extremely tall small forwards if they cant rebound like Dwight and run like CP3.

This is really intriguing. I'm not completely sold on it but something needs to be done and realistically they won't separate park and career ($$) so they need to find another fix.

I don't expect one this year if I'm honest. Hopefully next year though.

In the older games, increased height used to be balanced by making it harder to earn team mate grade/skill points, at least for certain things (rebounds and blocks come to mind)...however with VC that approach has basically gone out the window.

Right now I feel the best course of action is:

              1. Return to the method of player creation where you chose a play style(slasher,3pt specialist, defensive, etc.) and that affected your max attributes.

              2. Get rid of the attribute grouping and go back to having to raise skills individually.

              3. Makes badges harder to get, and perhaps insitute a cap on the number of GOLD badges you could have.

4.. Allow people to make a separate character just for My Park.

5.Players that have played enough games in My Career would also be allowed to import their player to Park, perhaps with a slightly higher OVR cap. This could only be done after they having played a high number of complete games in my Career(think several hundred);games would have to be played on at least 10 minute quarters, and fouling out would not count towards the number.

I was with you until number 5, I love playing online with my bros but I would never get that chance with the way I work if I had to play over a hundred games just to get online. I agree with the thought but that just seems overkill.

Maybe I didn't word ti right...you could make a separate online player just for Park any time you wanted to, number 5 would only apply specifically if you wanted to use your My Career player in Park.

I'd like to see a better restriction on badges. A center should be able to have killer crossover or deadeye.

Plus I think going back to skill points would make online a lot better. This VC is killing mycareer but 2k won't go back because they are making too much money off it.

I think if they did skill points and play styles right, it could also help with the badges issue.

As an example...if only a slasher could max dunk and the highest other style could get was say,90, then make the requirement Gold Posterizer a dunk rating of say, 95 (like they used to with sig skills).

By this method, yes a slasher could get the max Posterizer badge and jam on people, but in return he's probably not going to be able to have a godlike jumper with all kinds of Gold shooting badges, due to not being able to have high enough shooting rating...risk vs rewards.

Yeah, separation of mypark and mycareer would be great...

Let people in mycareer do whatever they want. If they want a 7 foot 10 Point Guard with handles like AI and shooting like Reggie Miller. Let them. I don't care what people do offline.

But for park, they should get restrictions.

                            1) Maximum OVR or less upgrade slots available. You should choose what you can do. Either a specialist in one or two categories or you're an allrounder, but you are more average in every category.

                            2) Your weight/heigth should determine some attributes like speed or strength.

                            3) Earn badges in the park!

                            4) Make some kind of hack programm detection... Many games on the PC are VAC protected via steam. Why can't 2k get something like this done?

Yes I do. At a certain point you have to look at yourself in the mirror and say do I wanna be "Walmart" (make the most money possible but have everyone say negative things about me) or be the company that makes money and stays true to the game.

Companies get calls and complaints all day, it's ultimately their decision on whether or not they change. You don't think there's a thousand calls to Mountain Dew from older folks saying it's too sweet? Too unhealthy? They don't change the way it tastes though.
Same thing with 2K. Just because lazy people can't be bothered to actually play doesn't mean they should change it for the ones who actually respect the work they put into the mode as a whole.
I don't wanna be Jordan, I don't wanna be Bird or Isiah, I don't wanna be any of those guys.

Exactly! Make a game for people who want to play basketball. Make a simulation! Not an arcade festival. They will get their sales. Casual gamers with buy the game no matter how they do it. They don't really care how the game exactly is, as long as they're having fun. So stay true to what brought you here 2k...
