I believe Anquila jumped the gun on the XBox One version being live. HB Studios haven't made a Twitter announcement about it, as they have the PS4 version and it's not showing up as available for download on my XBox One. UPDATE: Shaun just updated the official patch news... the XBox One version is not out yet.

The PS4 version is playing a whole lot better now though... WOW! The golfer animation is much smoother, particularly the putting stroke. Putting is no longer frustrating because of the hitches and pauses as we saw before... now it's frustrating due to my shortcomings as a player!

Gotta play a variety of courses to check the lighting adjustments. I just played a bright tropical course under full sun, and it's not the kind of conditions to really check this under.

The servers are definitely improved - finding Ghosts to play against is much faster than prior to the patch.

I'm disappointed they didn't fix the Society leaderboards though. It's a shame that they display everyone's final scores for the round as you are playing yours - a terrible spoiler. I hope there's a patch in the works for this.

I noticed that my stats seem to have finally updated... a bit anyways. It's odd, my scoring average seems accurate now, it's not just the +5 from the one round that seemed to save during the launch server issues. However, while the scoring average seems updated, it doesn't appear everything has fully updated yet. My longest drive was stuck at 288 yards, now though it's only showing 258, which seems to be while I was still using the easy clubs way back around launch. It's also showing my driving average, longer than my longest drive, which clearly doesn't make sense. It's coming around.


I'm excited to see the lighting changes though. Hopefully it clears up the "missing hole" issue that creeps up time to time on certain angles.

Are you sure about this last part?

I've always interpreted it as that player has already finished that round since I have seen users on the leaderboard mid round that are also progressing through their round as I am.
